Isabella's POV

I felt happy and relieved that I could tell Lukas about how my shift went, especially the fact he wasn't making another problem about Zach. I made clear I only saw him as a friend, nothing more. Why would I want more if I already have everything, I want right by my side? After talking until midnight at one of Google's recommended lookouts over the city I drove us home to my apartment.

I watched Lukas as he playfully snatched my keys from my hand, walking backwards trough the hall until we reached my door. "Once a thief, always a thief." I shook my head at him when I passed him at the door on my way in.

I turned on the light revealing my empty apartment. Lukas grinned as he leaned against the closed door while I took of my leather jacket and put it on the hook. "I'm starting to feel at home here." He chuckled, putting a hand through his hair as I watched him push his Vans of his feet. The way he said that just made me feel warm inside.

"Really? With me and my dead mice?" I laughed reminding him of what he said to me this morning.

"Mostly with you." He whispered softly with the sweetest smile on his face. I couldn't resist and wrapped my arms around his waist pulling him against me, his lips finding a spot against my forehead. I squeezed him, never wanting to let go, never leaving this apartment no matter how crappy it was, to have him in my arms until I lost my mind of age.

I gently pushed at the hem of his sweater so I could fit my hands underneath and put their coldness against his hot skin. I heard him chuckle at my sudden movement and I felt the muscles underneath his skin tighten as a response. I felt two strong arms wrap around my shoulders as his face snuggled into the top of my head. "Lukas..." I whispered against his chest, the both of us still standing at my door.

"Hhhmm?" He hummed softly into my hair. I love it when he does that.

I pulled away a little, looking up to meet his soft eyes and the smile painted on his lips. "Please don't break my heart." I whispered pulling up my eyebrows, the smile on his face turning into a confused frown.

"What?" He lightly shook his head. "Come here..." He whispered in the softest way possible before taking my hand to pull me closer to the couch. He sat down, leaning on the armrest as he pulled me between his legs. "Where is this coming from?" He whispered, his hands pushing my hair behind my ears before his thumbs caressed both my cheeks.

I leaned into his touch my eyes never leaving his. "Promise me you won't hurt me." He pulled back his head, his eyes searching for reasoning on my face. He frowned tilting his head to the side.

"I promise. What makes you think I would?" He whispered while one of his hands went to the back of my head, pulling me closer to him, his face pulling me in like a magnet while trying to look into his eyes kept me at a distance.

"Because I'm the happiest I have ever been, and it's because of you. I just don't want that to change." I leaned my forehead against his, while his hand on my face left me to seek comfort in the small of my back.

"I don't want it to change either Bells." He whispered, drawing my face closer to his lips. "Right here." He said softly pecking my nose with his full lips while the hand in my back pulled me closer between his thighs. "With you." He whispered before softly pressing his lips to my upper lip only. "Is everything I'll ever need." He leaned in slowly grabbing my bottom lip between his, my stomach warm and fussy, the rest of my body impatient for more.

"Do that again...I'm not convinced." I hummed against the softness of his breath while all I felt were his hands on me, one grabbing onto my sweater at my side and the other one working his fingertips on my scalp.
