Sora X Reader: Prince Charming (AU)

(A/N: High School AU!)

"Great, a dance." You thought sarcastically. Dances weren't really your thing, and ALL of the students were forced to go. You were looking in your closet for something to wear when you saw the perfect dress. It was a (l/s) sleeved (Dark/light) (Color) dress with frills.

"Maybe Sora will like this...Wait, why Sora? I'm not doing this for him...Right? Besides, he'll probably forget about the dance."

You get ready and wait for Kairi to pick you up. She (surprisingly) is cool with you having a crush on Sora. She'll probably end up dating Roxas or Ventus, anyway.

You look out the window and sees Kairi's car pull up. You head outside and open the passenger side door. "Where have you been? We'll be late if you don't hurry!"

"Sorry, Namine kept drawing me every time I tried different dresses on." She wore a plain red dress with spaghetti straps.

"Just get going."

Kairi drove off.

When the two of you arrived at the school, you went around the gym to look for Sora-er, your friends. Namine was sitting in the corner drawing everything, Xion and Roxas were sitting and talking, Demyx was chasing Axel around with a water gun and trying to spray him with it, and Sora...Wasn't here?

"Where is he?"

Then you saw him clinging onto Riku. "Rikuuu! I'm bored!"

Riku rolled his eyes. "Maybe find a girlfriend for once, and you won't be bored."

"But Kairi won't date me!"

"What about Xion?"

"Xion's always eating ice cream and talking to Roxas!"

"Namine?"

"She's always drawing!"

 He looked away from Sora and saw you. "(Y/N?"

"(Y/N)'s nice and (pretty/handsome), and she/he) always finds time to hang out with me!"

Riku smirked and shoved Sora towards you. You caught him and you two fell onto the hardwood floor. You were a blushing mess while Sora just smiled at you, oblivious to the position the two of you were in. "Hi, (Y/N)! What are you doing down there? And what's that red stuff on your face?"

"Uh...Sora?"

"Yeah?"

"You can get off now."

"Get off?..." He trailed off, finally realizing the position you two were in. He jumped off you as fast as he could, he face bright red. "Sorry!"

You giggled and stood up. "It's okay." You noticed what he was wearing. He wore a nice tux and actually fixed his hair for once. He kind of looked like a prince.

"Sora? I...kinda heard what you said about me."

His face went to a dark red. "Y-You did?"

"Yeah..."

"Then does that mean I can do this?"

"Do wha-?" You were cut off by Sora kissing you on the lips. You kissed back and wrapped your arms around his neck. The two of you broke apart for air.

"So you really think I'm (pretty/handsome), huh?" You smirked at him.

Sora hid his red face. "Yes, and I'm not going to say it again!"

You giggled and led him onto the dance floor where the two of you spent the rest of the night.

"I guess I did want to go, after all."
