(Y/N) and Kairi were pretty bored just waiting for Sora to return from his latest adventure, so Kairi had suggested a game to pass the time.
"What kind of game?" You tilted your head, curious.
"Tag!"
"Tag? But you suck at running."
Kairi blushed and turned her head away. "I'm just not as fast as Sora and Riku. That's all."
You grinned and tagged her on the arm, running to look for a hiding place.
"No fair!" She ran after you, trying to tag you back.
The sun had just started setting when Kairi flopped down onto the sand. "I give up..."
You came out of your hiding place. "I win again! Wait until Sora hears that I beat his record!"
She sat up and glared at you. "Don't you dare tell him I lost!"
"Fine, fine." You raised your hands in surrender, sitting down next to her.
Kairi looked over at you and grinned. "I have an idea."
"What is it?" Her ideas usually didn't end well, but you were too curious to pass it up. Besides, if it was anything like the last one, you just might win something.
And you love winning things.
"I gotta go get it." She ran off somewhere.
"She's probably gonna give me the win."
Kairi came back and sat down next to you. She opened up a box of Pocky and put one in her mouth, then she held out the box to you. "Want one?"
"Sure." You faked a hand into the box, only to take a bite out of her pocky stick.
Her eyes widened and she blushed a dark red, continuing toward the middle.
Eventually you two were almost at the middle before you heard a familiar voice.
"Kairi, (Y/N)! Where are you?"
While Kairi was surprised to hear Sora, you finished it and ended up kissing her. She kissed back and then pulled away once Sora found you two. He had a confused look on his face. "Are you two a thing, or..."
"We're totally not a thing, Sora." You said sarcastically.
Kairi giggled and took your hand, walking away from Sora. "Where do you wanna go?"
You smiled at her. "Wherever, as long as I'm with you."
