Spy

"I already ask Taehyung to let you go." I said as I walk in Jungkook's room. "I still don't have the answer. He said he wants to talk to you first."

"I don't want to go home right now Jin." Jungkook looked distressed. After we talked about father being a murderer and rapist, he went quiet.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing. I'm just trying to figure things out. I know father is a smuggler. I am working for him for two years now when Taehyung started to invade his shipments. Jin, I'm sorry if I did not tell you. Father asked me to protect your innocence."

I snorted. "Protect me? Protect me but he himself gave me to Taehyung as a gift? What kind of protection was that?"

"I'm sorry Jin but I just want you to know that I tried to save you. But father said, that will be a suicide. He don't want to give me his men to save you here b - "

"But his men is more important than his own son. That's the bottom of it." My anger over my father blooms.

Jungkook lower his head. "I know Jin. It's my fault. I failed to protect you."

I just stared at him. I don't know what's in his mind. But on the contrary, Jungkook is also my father's victim. He's only doing this for my father.

"Hyung it's not your fault. We're both victims here. I don't want you to go back to father but I can't make you stay here with your enemy. You know that I side with Taehyung now. I don't want to go back. And hyung.." I took a deep breath. "He's my boyfriend now. I'm sorry if I disappoint you but-"

"It's okay Jin. I understand. At least, I know Taehyung will protect you here." Jungkook said.

"Can I hug you?" I missed my brother so much and after so many months, this will be the first time I'm going to hug him again.

Jungkook got off his bed and hugged me tight. I kissed him on his cheeks as I hug him. He used to be my only joy inside my father's home. My source of strength and happiness. He is indeed my protector.

"Kook?" Taehyung called.

I looked at him smiling but Taehyung looks displeased. I wrapped my arms around Jungkook's waist. "He wants to talk to you hyung. I think I'll talk to you again later."

Jungkook nods and gives me a kiss on my forehead.

Taehyung clicked his tongue. I honestly don't know why but if looks can kill, i'd probably be dead by now.

I walk past him and went out looking for Jimin.

"Hey Joonie! Did you see Jimin?" I asked Namjoon who is currently busy reviewing documents.

"I saw him at at the pool area. Maybe he's still there." Namjoon answered showing his dimples.

"Thanks!" I turned away and went to the backyard.

The pool is empty but there are men talking around the area. I walked towards the side of the mansion where the garden is located. I heard someone talking at the back of a boxwood hedges. The voice sounds oddly familiar.

Then a very familiar laugh. My heart beats faster. I know that laugh. And I take a peek. My eyes widened. The very familiar person is kissing with Yoongi.

"Hoseok?!"

Hoseok pulled away from the kiss and his eyes became as wide as a saucer. "Holy fuck!"

Yoongi smirked and shook his head. "Well, you're already caught. You have plenty of explanations to tell. I'll leave you both."

Hoseok pulled me and made me sit on the sofa. My eyes still staring at him. Making sure that this is really Hoseok in front of me.

"Jin!" Hoseok snapped his finger in front of my face. I blinked.

"What the hell are you doing here and what's that all about?" I said, my thumb pointing backwards meaning, about Yoongi.

"Jin, first, I'm sorry for what you're about to hear but I want you to know that I do consider you as a friend. And, sorry, I know I'm about to hurt your feelings."

I sigh. I think I already have an idea. "Spill the bean."

"I am Yoongi's spy and I'm the one made the abduction in your unit possible." Hoseok pursed his lips. I can see it in his eyes that he's feeling guilty.

"Fuck you Hobi!" I said, but my voice is low. Like a curse out of shock and not out of anger.

"I know i know. I'm a fuck but now that you're boss's boyfriend, I think I -"

"Wait, how did you know?"

"My neighbor told me." Hoseok said while rolling his eyes. "Of course Yoongi told me!"

I pout.

"Let me continue. When you called me to come to your unit and I found you totally wrecked because of your ex shit, I took that as a chance. I texted Jungkook and told him to come over your unit because you're totally fucked up and you have a high fever. I messaged Yoongi telling him that you and Jungkook will be in the unit together. And.. that's it. They barged in but Jungkook escaped." Hoseok smiled at me. Like he's so proud of what he did.

"Jungkook nearly died there!" I yelled.

Hoseok shook his head. "Believe me, they will never kill Jungkook. That's why I am confident that both of you will be safe."

"Wait, so how long have you been Yoongi's spy?" I asked, curious. "We're classmates right?"

"Actually, it's all a coincidence. I am Yoongi's boyfriend for four years now. I know that he joined in a group that works like a mafia. So we rarely get to see each other." He looked at me. "Aren't you shocked?"

"I don't care about your love life Hobi. Just tell me everything!"

"Oh sorry. Okay. Yoongi failed to get a blue stone from your father so he thought of using Jungkook as a bait. They have been spying your house for quite a while. They have a spy inside your home but he was killed by your father."

"They have been spying you and Jungkook for a while and he was surprised when he saw me coming out with you from the cafe where we usually hang out. So he called me the same day asking me if I know you and I said you're my best friend."

"He said that he needs my help because he has a plan to use any of the Jeon brothers to get hold of the sapphire. So I took a photo of Jungkook and a photo of you. Your photo was a little blurred because it was raining that time and I don't want you to catch me."

"I gave the photos to Yoongi and he gave them to boss. And there, the plan was brought up. I know I betrayed you Jinnie but I'm inlove with Yoongi. He's the one sending me to school and he's the one who bought my condo unit." Hoseok explained. "Well, I believe that's okay with you? I heard boss is so into you."

I looked at him. "I don't know why I'm not angry at you. Actually, I'm more of thankful. At least I learned the illegal activities of my father. And yes, you're right, I met Taehyung."

Hoseok clapped his hands once. "I knew it! Anyway, I heard apple pie is here?"

"Slut! You have a boyfriend and you're still calling my brother applepie?"

Hoseok laughed. "That's only a crush! And I heard Jimin likes him."

"You know Jimin?"

"Of course. He's my cousin. We're both from slums Jin. Yoongi saved me. When Yoongi started working for boss, he recommended Jimin. That's the reason why I am inside the cafe when you shot Hyunwoo. I'm the one who messaged him about Hyunwoo's whereabouts. "

Great! Confirmed. Taehyung's men are all smart, brave and trustworthy. I think Hoseok deserved an increase as well.

"Jin!" I heard Taehyung's deep voice. He still looked upset. "In my office. Now."

I startled. What did I do? He looks angry.
