It's been two months and no traces of Jin yet

It's been two months and no traces of Jin yet. It feels like the world is against me. I have mixed emotions of fear, worries and regrets.

The hospital confirmed that the man in that room escaped. Footages are not available and nobody in the hospital wanted to speak but I am still hopeful that it's Jin.

Yoongi is still finding out if one of the men found burnt inside a car is Jin. That one bothers me the most. That would be the worst if in the end, they will confirm that the body is indeed Jin.

But I am hoping that it's the first scenario. I hope Jin just gave the hospital a fake name to conceal his identity then escaped because he's not yet aware that his father is already dead.

What fears me is the thought that Jin got shot. If he escaped from the hospital, I hope he can manage to endure the pain and anxiety. I hope he's doing okay. And I hope, he did not lose the baby. That will be really painful for him. And for me.

I drove to Busan last week to meet with his mother's relative. She's old and very frail. She said Jin did not visit her. And she wished he will especially now that I've told her that he's pregnant. But I guess, Jin will not go to a place where we can easily find him.

I hope he's not angry with me. I should have not let anger overshadow my love for him. I should have weigh in the sacrifices he made and the things he did for me. As I think about the things he said before he left, I realized that they were all true.

He came back when I let him out. He betrayed his father by joining my team to stop his father from stealing. And he indeed let me and Jungkook be together.

Jungkook has been treating me cold the past few weeks. I know I disappointed him with how I treated the brother he knew for 22 years in front of him. But I know that he is also disappointed of how Jin betrayed him.

And now guilt is creeping in. All Jin wanted is to be loved by his father. I should have considered that. And now he's all alone. And nowhere else to go. If he escaped, where will he go?

I can never forgive myself if he's sleeping on the streets. Or if something happened to him and our baby. I think I'm going to lose my mind. I can't wait for another week to know if he's okay or his where abouts.

"Boss good news." Yoongi appeared to my office looking excited. He sat down across my desk. "First, you can finally shave your beard boss, the burnt body is not Jin."

I rests my back on my chair upon hearing that letting out a sigh of relief. I am somehow relieved knowing that Jin is still alive.

"I already watched the footage of the camera outside the hospital. There's a big possibility that Jin rode this truck." Yoongi place a picture of a delivery truck. "That truck usually park at the back of the hospital. They supply fruits for the hospital. They deliver once a week according to the admin. Fruits are coming from Haenam. The next schedule will be today at 1pm that's why I rushed here. Maybe you want to come with me?"

"Haenam? That's far south of Korea." Jin is smart. Who would have thought that he will be somewhere where his not supposed to be.

"I know boss. We can possibly have the answers today. If the truck owner will deny of having Jin in their home, I can personally follow his truck to Haenam." Yoongi offered.

"No. I will follow the truck. I will bring Jin home." I said as I stood up and prepare.

Yoongi and I travelled from Seoul to Haenam for five hours. I can't believe a pregnant man with gunshot wounds was able to travel this far.

The place is rural. So many green fields around and houses made of straw and wood. I wonder how Jin adjusted.

He's probably five months pregnant now. I hope he's seeing a doctor to check on him and taking vitamins that's good for him and our baby.

We waited for half an hour before we decided to knock on the old man's house. It's aleady getting late. An old lady open the door.

"Hi, goodevening." I greeted the old lady. She looked at me from head to foot.

"Goodevening. What can I do for you?" She asked, smiling.

"I'm sorry for bothering you this late but I'm looking for this man in this picture." I showed her my phone. She slightly moved her eyeglass to see the picture clearly.

"Ohh! My Seokjinnie! Yes of course. He used to live here with us." The old lady looks very happy but her words suddenly made me froze.

"Used to?" I asked.

"Yes. Are you related to him?"

"I'm.. I'm the father of his child."

The old lady looked surprised. She let us in and prepare some snacks for us to eat.

"So you're Taehyung?" The old lady inquired as she place the snacks on the table.

"Yes ma'am." I bowed. "I'm wondering how did he got here?" I am curious how he managed to reach this far.

"My husband saw him sleeping at the back of his delivery truck. He said he had nowhere else to go. At first, he doesn't want to tell me what happened to him but as time goes by, he opened up. He told me what happened to his family. The baby is 17 weeks when he left. He decided to go to Jeju to look for better job opportunity. You know, he'll give birth soon."

"Why is he hiding from me? Did he mentioned where particularly in Jeju?" I asked, alarmed.

"No. He's not hiding from you. He thought you're not even looking for him. And he's not expecting for you to look for him. And I'm sorry, he did not mention where in Jeju. But Jin said he will try to apply in one of the resorts there."

"Thank you ma'am. Thank you for giving Jin a home in a short while." I stood up and bowed to the old lady and to his husband.

I need to get to Jeju tonight.
