"How are you now hyung?" I asked my brother as he placed the cups of coffee that he ordered. He looked gloomy and uncomfortable.

"I'm worried about you. I thought you really went back to Jeju." I noticed his eyes looking at every corners of my face. "You looked a lot better now compared the last time I saw you."

I chuckled. "This are all Jimin's idea. I'm planning to go back to Jeju but he stopped me. He promised to help me get a job here in Seoul."

He nods. His gaze went down to the table. "I'm sorry I'm of no help. I'm still adjusting to Taehyung's policies. If father spoiled me before, hyung is a lot different."

I hold his hand. I know how he felt. Taehyung really is very strict especially when it comes to handling the people around him. "He's a perfectionist Kookie. I agree." I leaned my back to my seat. "Anyway, you don't need to help me. I can do this alone. By the way, I'll be applying for a job today. Wish me luck."

"Really? What job?" He asked, smiling. I missed looking at his bunny smile.

"Assistant to the VP." I laughed. "Anyway, he is Jimin's best friend so I don't worry. I think I can do anything he asked me to do."

"Wow.. good for you." He gets his phone from his pocket and browse for a moment before showing me a picture.

My Taejin.

"He's growing fast. He resembles a lot like you." I know Jungkook is a proud uncle.

I can't help not to shed a tear. I can't wait for the coming weekend to arrive, when I will be able to carry my son in my arms again. It's been a month. I miss him. "I'm glad he's growing healthy. By the way, who's taking care of him?"

"Hyung hired a baby sitter. She's good. I really do think she's doing her job well." I guess I feel better now that the nanny that Taehyung hired is doing a good job.

"Nice to hear." I sipped from my cup and inhaled deeply. "Jungkook can I trust you with something?"

Jungkook narrowed his eyes. His brows furrowed. "What's that? Is it about Taehyung?"

I shook my head. "Honestly, I don't know whom to trust anymore. I trust Jimin but I just can't give my full trust to him. Kookie, I know we had a very bad history of betrayal but I honestly do not know whom to open about this one."

He nods. "You're still a brother to me Jinnie. Tell me. What's bothering you?"

"I read about the news when I was in Haenam. The news was, the car carrying me crashed on a tree and burst into flames." I don't know if I should tell anyone but I guess I should. "It's not true."

"What do you mean it's not true?" He asked. He looks confused.

"The driver and the one at the front seat were gunned down before it crashed but the impact was not that hard for it to burst into flames." I recalled.

"How about the one beside you?"

"There's no one beside me Kookie. Someone scooped me out of the car and transferred me to another. They brought me to the hospital."

Jungkook leaned his face over to look at me intently. "Did you recognize them?"

I stared at Jungkook and shook my head. "No hyung. They were both wearing face masks and caps."

"How about the voice?"

" Even the voice, I can't recognize. I'm already groggy that time. I am bleeding. And I heard the one in red cap talking to someone over the phone. He said that he wanted me alive."

"Maybe they were father's men? Don't you think?" He asked.

"That's what I thought too. That's the reason why I escaped because I thought father was still after me." I remember my fears that time. Afraid that my father will come back to get me.

Jungkook is silent. Thinking. Perhaps, puzzled too.

"I'm thinking, if that man wanted me alive, then probably, there are only three things he wanted, keep me away from Taehyung, use me against him or both. I mean, what's his purpose for keeping me alive?" Jimin and I have the same question.

"Did you say it to Taehyung earlier?"

I shook my head. I'm not yet sure about my assumptions. And I don't think it's right to talk about it with him. "Kookie, I don't think I am the right person to tell him that. You know our past. I lied to him big time then I will tell him something like that? I don't think he will believe me and I want to make sure first if what I am thinking are all correct."

"So who do you think he was talking to? I mean that man in red cap." Jungkook inquired.

"Possibly the doctor who took care of me in Noori. I saw that doctor again at the bus station. She gave me a bottle of water before I fainted. I think that doctor was given an instruction to make sure that Taehyung will not see me at the station. I mean, it all fits, don't you think?"

Jungkook taps his fingers on the table before letting out at a sigh. "Jin, it's getting complicated. I can't see the logic behind all of it. And before anything, there was a third person at the back of the car. If there were only two dead when that someone got you out, who is the third one?"

I swallowed. "I don't know. It puzzles me too." I hold Jungkook's hand once again. "Kookie, please look after Taehyung. There must be someone inside who's betraying him. I don't know the purpose. I don't know who. But I guess you should be careful."

"But what if he's not from the inside Jin?" Jungkook squeeze my hand.

"I don't know. That's why you need to be vigilant." I looked at my clock. It's almost one in the afternoon. "Kookie I have to go now."

I stood up to give Jungkook a hug. But he stared at me. Particularly on my lips. I don't know what he's thinking. I am too scared that he will think of something not right. But maybe, I'm just assuming.

"See you again hyung." I gave him a quick hug before walking away.

I wish he can figure out something from what I told him. But this time, I need to look for a job first.
