Before finding out about Seokjin's betrayal, none of you ask about what Tae and Jungkook talked about. You know, when Taehyung caught Jin and Jungkook being so touchy? 🙄

Flashback to when Taehyung talked to Jungkook (Spy Chapter)

"Tae, I'm sorry about what my father did to your mother. I didn't know that side of him." Jungkook said. Looking ashamed.

Taehyung nods. "It's not your fault."

Jungkook lowered his head.

"From now on, I don't want you being so touchy with Jin." Taehyung said to Jungkook.

Jungkook looked confused about Tae's request. "Tae, he's my brother. I can't see any reason why you should be jealous. We grew up together."

"You grew up together. You know him well?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes. I do." Jungkook answered and he looked even more confused.

"So you know that you have a different mother?" Taehyung asked again.

Jungkook nods. "Yes. But Jin didn't know that we have a different mom. Jin's mom was a mistress. Father forbid me to say anything about it. To protect his inocense."

"He thought that his mom is also my mom. He was born in Japan. He and his mother went back to Korea when my mother died."

"Do you know why your mother died?"

"She was killed."

"How about Seokjin's mom?"

"She was also killed two years after my mother."

Taehyung smirked. "So you know why both of your mothers were killed?"

Jungkook shakes his head. "Father said the evidences were weak. And the case did not progress."

"Lies." Taehyung let out a sarcastic laugh.

"What do you mean?" Jungkook asked, bewildered.

"My father had an affair with your mom. And you Jungkook was the son. No way you are related to Mr. Jeon. He's not training you to be his heir. He wanted to use you to revenge against your own brother because of my father's mistake. We may not be related by blood because I am adopted but in papers, my father is the same as your biological father."

Jungkook was shocked of what he just heard. "How can you prove that I am your father's son? He's dead."

Taehyung smirked and tossed a document on the table.

"My grandfather was aware of your existence. Probably because my dad was so close to him. That's why my grand father and my father planned for something that will ensure of your existence. So your existence will be protected and be proven when the right time comes."

"Mr. Jeon thought that you're really his son because that's what your mother said to your father. She's so scared of getting caught of having an affair because she knows what Mr. Jeon can do. Even though your mom knows that your father is a womanizer, she chose to stay with him to protect the safety of my father's family and just to say that she's loyal to your father."

"My father, on the other hand, was also protecting your mom, my mom, me, you and his reputation as a businessman. He chose to stay silent to avoid revenge and unnecessary actions."

"Being that as a case, our lawyers suggested to have my grandfather and my father's DNA be preserved in a DNA bank just in case they died before we can recover you. Or someone else presented themselves and claimed to be my father's son."

" You and me cannot do a DNA matching since I'm only adopted. I dare you take the test versus the DNA from the bank. I am confident of the result."

Jungkook swallowed. By now, he knows that Taehyung is dead serious. And probably, slowly putting up the puzzle pieces together.

"Does it mean that Mr. Jeon caught my mom having an affair with your father?" Jungkook asked.

"Precisely. Mr. Jeon raped then murdered my mom for revenge. He even stole my mom's sapphire because he knows that it's my father's gift to my mom. He used that crime to mentally torture your mom and our father. So they will feel guilty and be afraid of their safety."

"Since I am the only witness to what your father did to my mom, the case about my mother did not progress. I was traumatized. I cannot stand in court. Your father even tampered the evidence and pay the authorities and the court to disregard the case."

"But my father still continue to fight for justice since I am slowly recovering and soon can stand in court. After several months since my mother's death, my father went missing. Then we received a call that if we want to see my father alive, we should withdraw the case against your father. But my grandfather said we will fight."

"After a few days, my father and your mom were found dead inside a cabin near Busan. Maybe I don't need to tell you who killed your parents right? My adoptive father was killed too."

Jungkook was crying when he finally learned the truth. He was dumbfounded by too much information that he's receiving. "He's an evil. He killed my parents! All along, I thought you're a criminal like what Mr. Jeon always describes you. He wanted me to stop you from stealing our goods. That's his reason."

"Your father knows that I am aware that you are my brother. Giving you to me will be his last option. He knows that once you're with me, I can tell you the truth and we can join forces to bring him down." Taehyung explained.

"If i wasn't able to know the truth, I already killed you by then." Jungkook reasoned out.

"Kook, you cannot enter my mansion that easy. I am confident of my men's capability to defend me. I swear, you cannot enter my mansion alive. Well, you can because all the people here knows that you are my brother and they are forbidden to hurt you. They will only disarm you while your men will end up 6 feet under."

"When Jin told me to come back for you during our last encounter at the port, I have second thoughts. Because Jin was wounded. But then, I went back because that's my chance to finally get hold of you."

Jungkook thinks for a while.

"So if Mr. Jeon killed my parents, does it mean, there's a possibility that Mr. Jeon also killed Jin's mom? For what reason?" Jungkook asked.

"Jin told me that his mom got killed when he was six and he didn't know who killed his mom. Curiously, I asked Yoongi to investigate and we learned through Hoseok that Jin's mom still has a relative in a province."

"Yoongi went there and assured Jin's relative of protection. That woman chose to say the truth. She said she's already old to be scared of getting killed."

"The woman said that Jin's mom overheard Mr. Jeon talking about a crime. So she planned to return the stone to us when she learned that Mr. Jeon killed people just to revenge against our family. Mr. Jeon caught Jin's mom of her plans. So probably, you know what happened next?"

Jungkook closed his eyes. Still can't believe of what he just discovered.
