"Banner, go with Stark," Natasha yelled over the wind coming in through the opening hatch.

My cloud swirled as I leapt out of the jet, falling into a jet stream. "Evelyn, where is Tony headed?"

"Mr. Stark appears to be headed toward Stark Tower."

"Thanks."

Air rushed in my ears and my eyes were dry from all of the pressure. Tony landed on top of Stark Tower where a man was standing with the Tesseract. Looking at the tower in person was different from the diagram. It was huge.

"Shut it down, Dr. Selvig," Iron Man spoke through his helmet. He fired at the barrier around the device, but the Tesseract deflected it, sending the energy outwards. It knocked Selvig out as he was hit and Tony was blown back.

I looked down, expecting to see an office inside the building. Instead I saw a penthouse. Loki was pacing inside. "Hey, Mr. Stark, I found Loki." I pointed downwards.

We flew down to the suit loading dock. Tony landed first, his suit deconstructing. He walked through a door into the tower penthouse, me following close behind. We were watching Loki carefully, unsure of his play.

Inside the tower, Loki walked forward, toward us, as Tony went behind his bar.

"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." Loki sighed.

Tony chuckled. "Uh- actually, I'm planning to threaten you. We're going to threaten you." He motioned to me.

"You should have left your armor on for that."

It was Tony's turn to sigh. "Yeah, it's seen a bit of mileage. You've got the uh- blue stick of destiny. Would you like a drink?"

Loki smiled. "Stalling me won't change anything."

"No, no, no- threatening. No drink? You sure? I'm having one." Tony poured things into a glass. "Li Anne, drink?"

He gave me a look and I glanced at Loki. "Sure."

"Good choice," Tony kept a straight face. "Here you go."

I thanked him. The brown liquid swirled in the glass. It burned in my throat as I swallowed half of the small bit I was given. The drink woke me up yet made me want to sleep at the same time.

Loki spoke again. "The Chitauri are coming, nothing will change that. What have I to fear?"

Tony took a sip of his own drink. "The Avengers. It's what we call ourselves, sort of like a team. 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' type of thing."

Loki's sarcastic comment stung. "Yes, I've met them."

"Yeah, takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But, let's do a head count here. Your brother, the Demi-God;" Loki turned away and Tony slipped the pair of bracelets onto his wrists.

"A super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend; a man with breath-taking anger management issues; the strongest HYDRA experiment ever created; a couple of master assassins, and you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."

"That was the plan." I stared in horror as Loki winked at me when Tony began to walk to the center of the penthouse.

"Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you."

"I have an army." Loki countered.

Tony smiled at me. "We have a Hulk."

"Oh, I thought the beast had wandered off." Loki smirked as my cloud swirled threateningly around his neck.
