I didn't want to heal Clint on the aircraft. Even if I did, I couldn't regrow other people's flesh. Only mine. Dad was solemn since we left. Thor was pacing. Steve looked grave.

Natasha looked over at me and I tilted my head at my dad. She made her way over to him.

Those kids. They were my age. And they gave their lives over to Hydra. I risked my life and Bucky's to get away from them. I didn't understand. But I had to.

"Thor, report on the Hulk?" Nat asked.

"The gates of Hell are filled with the screams of his victims."

I gave him a look in tandem with Nat. Dad groaned.

Thor frantically tried to fix what he had said. "Uh, but, not the screams of the dead, of course. No no, uh...wounded screams, mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and, and uh... and gout."

Tony interrupted us. "Hey Banner, Dr. Cho's on her way in from Seoul, is it okay if she sets up in your lab?"

' "Uh, yeah, she knows her way around."

"Thanks," Tony turned back to the controls. "JARVIS, take the wheel.

"It feels good, yeah? I mean, you've been after this thing since SHIELD collapsed. Not that I haven't enjoyed our little raiding parties, but..."

"No," Thor said. But this...this brings it to a close."

"As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. I don't just mean weapons. Since when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?"

"Chandler could do it with the little bit of Tesseract saved. Surely it can't be that hard if he had the whole scepter," I interjected. "The kids can't be the only people Strucker's worked on. Few survive, even those in stable conditions."

Dad groped for my cold hand and I squeezed his tightly.

Tony turned the conversation back to the scepter. "Banner Sr. and I'll give it the once before it goes back to Asgard. Is that cool with you?"

Thor nodded his head.

"I mean, just a few days until the farewell party. You're staying, right?"

Thor kept a straight face but I heard laughter under his voice. "Yes, yes, of course. A victory should be honored with revels."

"Yeah. Who doesn't love revels. Captain?" Tony asked, adding to the joke.

"Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and HYDRA, so. Yes, revels." He answered. "But as long as Li Anne agrees with how we've left Hydra."

"I said I wouldn't rest until the people who hurt us were gone. Strucker's lab was the last one."

Steve hugged me. "You did good, kid. He'll be proud of you."

The Avengers aircraft landed at the Avengers Tower where Clint was rushed to Dr. Cho.

Maria stepped onto the plane as we began to unload. "Lab's all set up, boss."

"Uh, actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler." Tony said, pointing to Steve.

Steve and I headed to the data room to input what we remembered before dinner. Maria followed us.

"What's the word on Strucker?" Steve asked her.

"NATO's got him."

"The two enhanced?"

"Wanda and Pietro," I answered before Maria.

"Yes," she smiled at me. "Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special."
