Steve and I were leading the team. We had to be in and out, there were too many citizens nearby. Dad was going to wait in the jet to avoid an accidental Code Green.
Before we got off the jet, I gathered the group around. "I'm only going to say this once. I want the twins. And I want them alive. The twins are to remain alive. Got it?"
Everyone nodded. I got a questioning look from Nat as we exited.
Clint and Nat were going to hide in the shadows, the rest of us would approach from the front.
Tony and Thor would deal with Ultron. Steve would keep an eye on the vibranium. I would get the twins.
Ultron was yelling, albeit very loudly when we stepped onto the bridge in the middle of the ship. "Don't compare me with Stark! He's a sickness!"
Tony spoke up. "Ahh, Junior. You're gonna break your old man's heart."
Steve, Thor and I stepped up. Dad had made me change. I was wearing my short, metallic skirt, a coral camisole, and a lavender bomber jacket. The ship was hot inside and I had rolled up the sleeves. My hair was down, Clint said it made me look like I meant business.
"If I have to." Ultron turned to us.
Thor made a spasm movement, like he wanted to chuck his hammer but decided not to. "We don't have to break anything."
"Clearly you've never made an omelet." Ultron commented.
"He beat me by one second." Tony said to Thor.
"Ah, this is funny, Mr. Stark," Pietro stepped forward, Wanda right behind him. "It's what, comfortable? Like old times?"
"This was never my life," Tony said, regret laced in his voice.
Steve moved up to stand closer to Tony. He directed his words at the twins. "You two can still walk away from this."
Wanda put on a fake pout. "Oh, we will."
"I know you've suffered." Steve continued.
"Uuughh!" Ultron gagged. "Captain America. God's righteous man, pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but..."
"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it." Thor reasoned.
Ultron moved menacingly closer to us. "I think you're confusing peace with quiet."
"Yuh-huh. What's the Vibranium for?" Tony cut in,
"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan!"
Suddenly the Iron Legions attacked Tony, Steve and Thor. I knocked mine out with a flick of my wrist and ducked into a corner. My plan had to work.
I watched from the corner as Pietro ran through everything, knocking people over until something happened with Thor's hammer and he fell down a story to the bottom deck. Steve jumped down after him and I ran down the back stairs after him.
Steve hit him. "Stay down, kid! I'll let Banner deal with you."
I stepped into the light, my heels clicking on the floor. "Well, Speedy, that position can't be very comfortable."
"It's not," he groaned.
My cloud pulled him up. "I'm showing you mercy one time. Get out of here."
He ran off towards the exit. "Evelyn, keep an eye on him. He's not going to leave."
"Thor! Status?" Steve asked.
