"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Bucky, happy birthday to you," I sang, holding Danny in my arms as Bucky grinned at us over his birthday cake, the candles lighting his face in a sweet glow. "Blow out your candles and make a wish!"

Bucky leaned forward and blew out his candles, sending thin wisps of smoke upward towards the ceiling. "I wish for more days like this."

I handed Danny to him and took out a knife to slice the vanilla cake with chocolate icing. "Don't tell us what your wish is."

Bucky leaned down and kissed me on the forehead. "I have other wishes too, sweetheart."

"I'll be happy to fulfill them later," I said, scooping a slice of cake onto a plate. Bucky speared it with a fork and headed to the table. He put Danny in his infant swing and came back over to the kitchen island.

"It's not everyday your husband turns one hundred and one." He said, leaning on the counter while I sliced the second piece.

"I know," I grabbed a fork and pulled out a chair at the table. "That's why I also had a CD made so we can dance later."

"You really are the woman of my dreams," my husband said through a mouthful of cake.

I smiled and took a bite of cake. It was sweet, the vanilla mixing with the chocolate. We hadn't had a cake in a long time and I made this one myself.

When the cake was eaten and our son was laid down for his nap, Bucky pulled me close as my cloud pushed play on the CD player. We danced around the kitchen, the table, and the living room until we ended up in the bedroom, our kisses laced with the taste of chocolate.

Wanda had mailed me Bucky's birthday present. It was a little too lacy for him to wear but it would be perfect for me when Bucky claimed his prize that night.

He was mine and all I had was his.
