"Wanda, come on!" I called down the hallway. My purse in one hand, Wanda's coat in the other, Steve came up next to me.

He handed me my purse. "I put your metro passes in the side pouch."

"Thanks, Steve," I checked to make sure my wallet was there.

Wanda came out of her room wearing a white sweater dress and her leather jacket. "I'm ready, I'm ready."

Happy was waiting to drive us into the city to do some Christmas shopping. Natasha had the flu and opted to shop online in the comfort of her pajamas.

We scrambled into the car. It was warm and cozy inside, Happy at the wheel. I wanted to take off my cargo jacket but decided to keep it on because it was part of my outfit.

"You want the main shopping district?" Happy asked as he pulled out of the driveway.

"Anywhere is fine."

Wanda glanced down at her phone. "Yeah, we can always take the metro."

He ended up driving us to Off Broadway to start.

There was a Starbucks on the corner and we stepped inside, letting the scent of coffee and multiple women's perfume wash over us.

Keeping a low profile wasn't the easiest thing to do and we kept our heads down.

We both ordered vanilla lattes and stood in the corner until our drinks were ready.

We decided to shop by person and started with Steve. He was the easiest.

I got Steve a new pocket knife because his was older than him. Literally. And he told me that he wanted one for Christmas.

Sam was just as easy. Wanda and I pooled some of our money and got him a foosball table.

We had to head into Sephora to get Natasha more spa stuff. It took about an hour to get out because some girl and her boyfriend recognized us.

Tony was really hard to shop for so we skipped him.

Wanda was getting super hungry so we stopped at Gray's Papaya for plain hot dogs and papaya drinks. Sipping through our red straws, we headed down the street towards a store that I could find something for GiGi in.

Still nothing for Tony.

I bought G a necklace with a diamond moon dangling from it and Wanda found a necklace for Natasha there.

As we were walking out, something caught my eye. I held it up for Wanda to see. "For Tony?"

She busted out laughing, leaning against a rack of clothing. The rack was on wheels and couldn't stay still with her weight.

With us, falling down on a shopping trip was kind of our tradition. While we were laughing, trying to stand up, a saleswoman walked towards us, a stern look on her face.

"Quick, Annie," Wanda said, her laugh still bubbling out.

My cloud attached itself to the peppy music playing in the store and covered the Mind Stone tattoo. The woman turned the other direction, ignoring us and the mess.

Wanda pulled the rack right side up and we brushed ourselves off.

And I bought the unicorn onesie for Tony.

Rhodey was another tricky one but I bought him a coat. Can't go wrong there.

On social media, a bakery had contacted me, asking if we would come by and taste the cupcakes that they named after us so we found the nearest subway and took the F train to the corner of Smith and 9th Street.
