My cloud faded slowly, starting from my head and falling into nonexistence around my ankles, revealing my latest outfit. A loose purple top with short sleeves and purple fishnet tights under my ripped, skinny black jeans. My hair fell gently in loose curls on my shoulders.

Wrapped in my beige coat, I stepped out into the street to the waiting car. Fury opened the door for me and I sat down on the leather passenger seat.

"So what's the mission?" I asked as soon as the door was shut.

Fury smiled. "Easy there, Banner. It's not exactly a mission."

I look over at him. "Why am I here then?"

"There is a prisoner that the SHIELD branch in England has that needs to be identified and interrogated. We've decided to ask you."

I nodded and we rode in silence to a gray, nondescript building just outside of London. Something in my head told me that something was off. I didn't know a lot of people.

The security in the building was tight and professional, scanning every inch of both Fury and myself before allowing us to roam the hallways.

Interrogation room 4.

Double doors swung open to a cold room with a man chained to the desk in the middle.

Fury stood by the door and motioned me forward. "Do you know this man?"

I stepped closer.

That distinct jawline. The jade green eyes that matched my own. Blonde hair messily standing up on his head.

My heart caught in my throat and sadness pumped through my veins like lead. Then, just like that, it switched to anger. Deep black anger took over every other feeling in my body. I looked back at Fury. My leg twitched, unsure of whether to step closer or back out.

"It's my father," I spat out.

My chest heaved to take in air and my every exhale was a shudder.

My father was watching me, a curious glint in his eye. "Li Anne?"

I screamed and jerked my hand in front of his face, my cloud opening a gash in his cheek. He sat perfectly still, unsurprised.

"You, you, you monster!" I stuttered. "How could you?" I shrieked. "She was your wife! How could you?" I stepped dangerously closer to him, my voice a deadly whisper. "We were your children."

Fury grabbed me by the wrist and it was then that I realized how hard I was shaking. "Li Anne, what did he do?"

I jerked out of his grasp. "He killed," I turned, inhaled, and yelled in my father's general direction. "He killed my mother!"

All that time, the man in the chair sat perfectly still, almost unblinking, not denying anything.

Fury pulled out a chair and motioned for me to sit. "When did he kill your mother?"

Memories flooded my head, tears flowed down my flushed cheeks as I tried to think straight.

I gasped and choked on tears like a fish out of water.

"Li Anne," Fury looked into my eyes gently. "We have your father here because of the crimes he's committed. Not just against you and your family, but against the world. Li Anne, your father is a Hydra agent."

Lavender swirled around my father's neck, cutting off his airways.

"He approved the experiment on the children in the Brooklyn lab."

My eyes blazed. I froze but the cloud pulled tighter. My father's face turned blue.

My voice dropped to a dangerous low. I turned to my father, sitting guilty in the chair. "How could you?" I stepped closer still. My voice rose to a scream. "You did this to me!" I reached out and shook him, his head wobbling on his neck as I yanked.

Fury jumped forward, holding me back. I let out a banshee scream and tried to fight him. After thrashing around, I grew tired and collapsed in Fury's tight hold. He moved me back to the chair and draped me on it.

"What do you suggest we do with him, Li Anne?"

I choked on air as I opened my mouth. "Lock him up." I stood to leave. "And throw away the key.

My legs gave way under me and both Fury and my father moved to catch me. "Get off me," I growled at my father as my cloud picked me up and stood me upright, swirling around my back.

"Thank you, Li Anne," Fury said. "You can go back to your hotel."

I fled the room, tears pooling and dripping down my face. The driver didn't ask any questions, just drove.

I couldn't get to my room fast enough. I broke down on the elevator. By the time I did reach my room, sobs were coming out as screams and I curled up on my bed, a messy ball of tears.

"Lady Lavender, don't cry," a smooth voice cut through my tears.

I sat straight up. "Thor?"
