daily question: have you ever experienced heartbreak?
Quick Recap: Dr Takemi gives herself to Akira in the examination room in a "physical examination", only to discover later in the day that he's seeing another girl. Angered and betrayed, she tosses her coffee in his face as a way to end things and storms back to her office to face her heartbreak straight on and cry. Akira is confused, angry and guilt-ridden as he thinks about how the two weren't official as Sojiro tries to consult him.

Tae finished up her paperwork for the day, putting them in a folder and rubbing the tiredness from her eyes. Her guinea pig was supposed to come in today for a test, but it doesn't seem like he'll be coming. She looked over at the serum, frowning as she pushed it back into the corner.
The door open, causing her to look up and see Akira walk in with his cat. She looked back down at her folder, then sighed as she looked back up at him. "Go to the exam room."
He walked past her without saying anything, she grabbed the serum and headed for the exam room as well. Akira sat down on the examination bed, stretching his arms above his head as he watched her set everything up on her desk and pulled out her chair.
She grabbed the serum and turned to him, holding out the beaker to him without making eye contact. "Take this."
He looked at her, waiting for her to make eye contact. When she didn't, he sighed and grabbed the serum from her hand and drank it. He waited for something to happen once more, this time only feeling nauseous.
After about five minutes of waiting for a reaction, Takemi wrote down her notes of Akira's nausea and took the beaker from him. "Alright, you're free to go."
He stood up, grabbing his bag off the floor and walking over to the exit. He grabbed the handle, looking over at Takemi who was putting her beaker with the rest of her dirty beakers. "Hey-"
"Don't. Get out." She yawned as she scratched her arm, looking anywhere but towards him.
"But Takemi-"
"I said, get out!" She glared at him, "You wanna chat? Go chat with your pretty new girl. I don't have time for your childish games."
Speechless, Akira's mouth remained open with something clearly to say, but nothing coming out. He scowled, huffing before swinging the door open and walking out without another word.
