Akira sighed as he shook his head, placing his hands on his hips. "Are you going to ignore me the entire time?" He rung out his shirt, watching as water splashed down onto the floor
Yusuke didn't respond, he just continued to stare down at the pond in silence as he tapped his foot. Akira groaned as he sat down on the bench next to Ryuji who was sat between the two reading a manga. "I said I was sorry, Yusuke."
"Well I don't forgive you." Yusuke huffed in response, scooting away from Akira slightly. Ryuji sighed, letting his head drop as he listened to the bickering around him.
"You two are being childish, would you just drop it already, or Yusuke forgive the guy. He didn't mean to mess up your sketchbook." He looked over at the sketch book that was completely soaked. Akira and Ryuji were looking at the artist's multiple sketches when Akira had tripped over his own two feet and dropped the book in the lake. He ended up going in the lake to retrieve it, and even after all of that Yusuke is pissed off about this.
"I paid a lot of money for that sketch book, and you went and ruined it in five seconds. How much more of a fool could you be?" He scowled at Akira as he crossed his arms over his chest, pouting as if he was a young child.
"Oh just like how I paid a lot of money for this jacket that's now ruined from that muddy pond water?" Akira retorted, both of the boys now glaring at one another with intensity, "I got your stupid book back, so get over yourself."
"How about you own up to your mistake and get me a new book!" Yusuke raised his voice slightly, Ryuji beginning to grind his teeth between the two as he stared down at his manga.
Akira noticed the change in volume in Yusuke's voice, getting defensive immediately, "Oh I'm sorry, I don't have the cash right now!"
"Well, you have a job, get to working!"
Ryuji groaned, closing his manga and placing it on his lap, "Could you two quit fighting with me in the effing middle!" He placed his hands on both of their faces, pushing them away from him hard enough to push them completely off the bench. "For crying out loud, listen to yourselves! You sound stupid!"
He stood up with his manga under his arm, glaring down at Yusuke, "It's your fault for giving him the book in the first place, so get over it."
"Don't be ridiculous." Yusuke rose to his feet and dusted off his back, "I told the both of you to handle it with care and he clearly disregarded."
"Yeah well you're disregarding my patience right now.." Akira mumbled, taking his jacket off and shaking off the grass. He pushed his glasses up his nose as he wrapped his jacket around his waste, the cool fall breeze sending shivers all over his body. "Guys, let's go indoors so I can dry over, I'm pretty cold right now."
Yusuke approached his book as lifted it off the floor, frowning as he watched water drop from the edges. Ryuji shook his head and took off his purple sweater, handing it over to Akira, "Here, it's better than nothing. But don't tell nobody I'm doing this."
Akira smiled at his best friend as he took the sweater from his hands, "Thanks Ryuji."
He pulled it over his head and slipped his hands through the arms of the sweater with ease, only to reveal the sweater was a bit large on him due to Ryuji's more muscular body type compared to Akira's thin body. Ryuji chuckled at the size difference, turning around to hide his amusement, "Hey, what's so funny!" Akira whined, stomping over to Ryuji and hitting the back of his head, "It's your fault for being a different size than me."
