What a turn of events during the last week. Last Friday at my parents' gala, I was dating Alessandro, found out he cheated and broke up with him.
Mr. Kelley, I mean Griffin and I ended our dislikes of each other. And, now we are dating. Who saw that one coming?
Bailey and I are watching television until Griffin comes over. Well, Bailey is asleep. Since we wanted to get to know each other, I invited him over for lunch. And, he is going to pay for our dinner date.
What I fixed for lunch is in the oven - pot roast and roasted potatoes. I fixed green beans, which are cooking on the stove now.
The bell just rang, and Bailey is now awake. As soon as I stood up to get the door, Bailey followed me. I knew who it was, so I just opened the door.
"Hi. Come on in."
"I brought a bottle of wine."
"Thank you." Griffin came in and handed me the wine. Bailey jumped right in Griffin's arms.
"Looks like my baby is turning on me. You can have a seat in the living room. I'm waiting for lunch to finish in the oven. I'll take the wine into the kitchen."
After taking the wine to the kitchen, I went upstairs to grab the paper he wanted me to grade from the project. Then, I went back downstairs to the living room.
Bailey was trying to lick Griffin's face.
"Bailey baby, no. That's not nice." She looked at me, so I started waving my finger.
"Sorry about that. The bathroom is right next to my office down the hallway. Oh, and here is the paper you wanted me to grade for Monica. She is one of my best students."
"Thank you. She really is. And, I want to help make her business successful. I'll be right back." Griffin put Bailey on the couch, then went to the bathroom.
