"I am going to go back to my people little kitten. I would like you to come." Fa was packing her things into a bag. She slid both of her knives onto her hip. "You were like a daughter to Torikk. I know I might not be the same to you but he was my husband so I see you as my own as well. I would love to take you to learn about my people's ways. After a few months, we can track down Torikk's old clan."

The girl smiled and shook her head. "I can't Fa-Lees. I have something important to do and I don't think I should put it off anymore." Fa came and sat next to the girl.

"What is it little kitten. Torikk wanted to tell me but I told him you would when you're ready." The girl leaned her head onto Fa's shoulder. Her tears were still slowly running down her cheek.

"So Torikk took me in when I was young. To be honest I don't even know how old I was when he found me. I don't know why I was even their. All I have found out is that there is a large amount of child trafficking in this area. I think I was stolen from my family and I want to find them. I just. I just don't know who took me. I had a lead but turned out that guy was the wrong one." The girl looked up at Fa. "So thank you very much for the offer but I should get back to my search." The girl through her pack over her shoulder and started walking. "Good luck Fa." Before she could finish her statement Fa replied.

"We will need it won't we."

"What are you doing."

"You think I will let you do this alone. No, I figure it's a good time to finish our adventures where Torikk and I left off." The girl felt her heart warm. She threw the hood of her cloak on and started walking, Fa by her Side.

The two were heading in the opposite direction of the city she first killed a man in. She was surprised that at this point she had killed so many. It legitimately didn't even bother her anymore. Torikk had told her if it was a matter of life or death and there was no reason to let herself be killed for them. Over the past few days, she had realized just how much Torikk taught her, it made her wonder how much more he could have. She had asked Fa to tell her stories of their old days and she obliged. They were so extreme and fun, sometimes frightening, but everyone made her feel that much closer to Torikk. She knew it would be hard but she made her choice then and there. She would Live as best she could to her fullest. She knew it was what he would want.

The two came across a small village. The people avoided any contact with the two of them. It made the girl feel very off. She couldn't Figure out what was so wrong with her. Fa did not seem bothered even in the slightest. She ignored them as much as they ignored her. When they just exited the village limits Fa looked towards the girl in the cloak.

"Do you wanna find out what they are hiding?" Fa asked with a large smile on her face. The girl smiled and nodded. The two ran over to the trees. They were not like those of their forest they knew so well. These trees were twisted and full of knots. Moss drooped over the already droopy leaves hanging from each branch. "Kinda creepy isn't it." Fa whispered as she scaled one of the trees. When they reached a nice point they looked into the village. The people were huddled tight around something in the center of the village. Whatever they were holding it gave the girl the creeps. The two stayed and watched for a few minutes until the girl started to think nothing special was going to happen. Just as she did, the villagers grabbed a baby from the arms of a younger woman. While they held the woman back they walked the baby over to a post and put it down in front of it. Chanting the person walked back as the baby lay crying. Suddenly a shadow flashed into sight and the baby was gone. Fa did nothing but look at the girl in the cloak. Nothing had to be said. They both knew they needed to figure out what was happening here.
