Everything was wet, almost soggy. The girl was still without her cloak. So how was she where they met.

"Have you forgotten about me?" A deep growl spoke from a place she could not see. "I know we are not as old friends like you and the cloak, but I thought we had at least become friends at the very least." She recognized the voice and yet was still in shock.

"I am sorry my friend. I thought I had no way to connect with you. This place is it not made from the cloak."

"It is not. It was made by you and unlocked by them. The cloak was only the key to help you open your true power gifted through your blood. And while the cloak has many fantastic tricks it can do and unbelievable ways to help you, this is all you Rain. This is yours by way of your blood right. Now you only have to harness it to use it."

"But how?" With those words, two sources of light appeared before her. A large flame. As well as a small pinkish-purple dot of light. "What," The girl paused as her voice became stuck in her throat, "What are these?"

"These are your gifts. Both from your Grandfathers." The voice was still in the darkness. "They will help you fight, but sadly I do not think your body can currently handle both of them at once. So you must choose." Rains gaze stayed on the two sources of light as she thought to herself. The flame looked so large and strong. It only made sense that it would be more powerful than the small purple light, but didn't her father have a flame in his eyes. If the flame was the part of her that was the same as her father and uncle then would she really want to even attempt to harness that power? On the other hand, the small pinkish-purple light was just that, tiny. It seemed to have no strength whatsoever. It barely lit up the area around itself. She knew she didn't have too much time to think about this. It was dire that she got back to her fight. For all, she knew she would be taking her final blow to the head as she came back around. She might not even have any fire left in her. Fire. Fire left in her. She knew what she had to do now. She reached for the flame. At first, she felt the heat of it singeing her flesh. It was not a feeling she had enjoyed at all. She pulled her hand back and looked over to the small dim light next to it. It just was not enough for what she needed. It had to be the fire. She had to light the fire inside of herself once again. So once again she reached for the flames. This time sure to herself it was the correct thing to do. Somehow she felt no heat coming from it this time. Though she was surprised by this she didn't let the fact stop her from continuing to reach in.

"The flames are strong in you young one." The wetness around her rippled as the words came to her. They seemed heavier than the words before. Both were the obvious grumblings of a dragon, and the only dragon that was welcome here was the one that had taught her and lived in her earpiece. She paused before she reached the flames. "They will light your way to the being of power you were always meant to be." Rain hesitated for only a second longer. Then, full of courage, she reached for the flame's core. Pain shot through her fingers as all around her went bright once again. She could feel the heat and licking of the flames coursing all over her as the flames engulfed her completely. Swirling around her like her own personal flaming hurricane the flames settled in her eyes. The water around them rippled again as the heavy voice laughed again for only a second and then was gone just as fast as it had started. Behind her, coming out of the shadows, was her friend the dragon she had trained before.

"Good Luck." It spoke and all became bright again.
