A small black film covered the girl's palm as the sword came at her. The sword made contact with her hand and the part she came in contact with vanished. A chunk of the sword had been removed completely. Ordik jumped back with his sword in hand and looked at it. Blood was pumping out of the veins that were once connected to the part that was now missing.

"How did you do this oof." The girl charged Ordik and made contact with him, shoulder to liver. She started to punch him. She landed two before he started blocking them again. Only this time after two shots were blocked she focused and her fist now had the black film. They would go through his arms and make contact with his face still. It wasn't long before he figured it out. "How can you control portals suddenly?" Blood dripped down his chin from his bottom lip.

"Is that what I'm doing?" She thought to herself.

"That's what we are doing. Let's show him our strength. You fight I will make sure they land." The girl ran forward and started throwing punches each one would go through a portal and appear hitting a different part of Ordik. The strikes had no pattern whatsoever. One thing they did have though was power. It had been years since she last used it but the girl was using a fighting style she learned from Torrik. He had some name for it that she could never pronounce so she always called it "kitty boxing". It always pissed Torrik off. The punishment training sessions she had done for calling it that almost turned her into a master. She kept her guard loose and ready to pounce, but still tight enough to guard incoming blows. She had developed such speed since she last used the style that it kind of felt funny. Each time she threw a punch her feet had a corresponding movement. It was almost like a solo dance. Straights with ball rotations and uppercuts with knee dips, or jabs with quick lunging steps and hooks with twitching ball rotations. The power flowed through her entire body and out on Ordik.what made it better, the portals from the dragon made it so she didn't have to think about anything but form. It proved to be too much for him. He lashed out with a sweeping attack the girl had to dodge and regained his composure. It dawned on the girl she had no chance at actually beating him at her current level. She looked over for Fa. She was against the wall.

"Can we take both of us away from here?"

"Of course just picture the place now." The dragon growled back. She did just that. She focused hard on many places and finally found one. She knew she needed a bigger gap so she bided her time waiting for the correct opportunity. Ordik came walking tall up to her. She knew what to do instantly. She grabbed ahold of the cloak's edge and held it tightly. When Ordik swung his giant fist at her again she flourished the cloak and spun low with her left leg out. The leg made contact. Ordik stumbled then fell over one of the stairs they were next to. The girl instantly turned and ran towards Fa. She dove at her with one black hand in front of her. The other arm wrapped around Fa. The two fell through the wall she was leaning against. The girl looked back and saw the portal shut just as the Horric Ordik stood up. Everything was silent and black as they fell for what felt like minutes. They arrived just seconds later in a familiar place. The bath that they once went to with Torrik. It was hard to believe that was just about a year ago.

The girl looked at Fa. She had turned completely pale. She had lost too much blood and the girl was worried. Just then she remembered the magic property of the bathing pools. She carried her body over to the pool and dunked her body. She left her there with only her face out of the water for ten minutes. On the tenth minute, Fa let out a grown.

"We made it? Knew you could do it." After that, the two silently soaked for hours. The women finally got out, got dressed and decided to leave.

"I heard you by the way. You called me mother." The girl blushed.

"I may not know my true mother but I have learned that you treat me like your very own daughter. I love you," she hesitated then looking at Fa let it out "mom." Fa smiled and hugged the girl and they made their way out of the forest.

"Back to adventuring?" The girl nodded quietly still blushing. "Which way do you want to g..." Fa went silent. The girl looked up. They had just left the forest and into the open night, but something was different. In the night sky was a full moon, the brightest either had ever seen. In the center of it was a dark spot. The spot started towards them slowly. It got larger as it got closer until they noticed what it was, a woman. She was the most beautiful woman the girl had ever seen. Pure white hair and pale skin. Around her neck, a long black flowing cloak, parts of the underside glowed pink and purple. The bottom of it was ripped and writhed in the night sky. The woman stood in front of the girl and smiled. Pure white light glowed from her teeth. She spoke.

"You have grown so much Rain, my daughter."
