The girl stared at the woman with her mouth open stunned.

"What?" she could only get out that much.

"Should we keep our guard up?" The girl could feel that the cloak was extremely nervous.

"Do you recognize her?" The girl asked the cloak.

"Not at all." The two went silent on the subject. The girl never broke eye contact with the mysterious woman. The woman never stopped smiling.

"You have your grandfather's nose. That's wonderful. I was afraid you would look like that wretched father of yours." The woman kept her eyes only on the girl in the cloak.

You know my father? Wait you know my grandfather as well?" the girl's voice was getting frantic.

"Of course I do, I am your mother." The girl dropped to her knees. Hearing these words was all she had ever wanted, but they still surprised her completely. The woman bent down on her knees, her smile still big on her face. "Don't be afraid little one, I truly am your mother. I am sure it would be easy to forget, you were so young." The woman had tears running down the side of her face but still smiled. The girl thought for a moment but suddenly pushed the women over.

"You left me!" tears now poured out of the girl in the cloaks eyes. "Why did you leave me!" The girl fell back on to the sky and looked up at the sky. The moon was full and bright. She could barely make out the stars in the night from behind her tears. She cried to herself for a moment then looked back at the woman. "What is your name?"

"My name is Luna." The girl saw more tears than before down her cheeks.

"Where were you?"

"I was in our home realm. Looking for you."

"Wait I'm not from this realm?" The woman giggled a little bit then shook her head no.

"You are not from this realm no, but you were always welcome to call whatever realm you wanted to home." The girl looked at her in disbelief, then looked over to Fa. Fa-Lees was smiling the same as the woman claiming to be the girl's mother. The girl in the cloak walked over to Fa.

"Do you know who this is Fa?"

"I have seen her before, but it is for her to say not I." Fa's response only confused the girl.

"Luna, what are you not telling me?" The girl sounded pissed.

"I am willing to tell you anything Rain, you only need to ask and I will." The girl looked into Luna's eyes and suddenly felt something familiar.

"Why did you not come for me?"

"Years ago when you were very young your father decided you belonged to him. He came and tried to kidnap you from me. I fought alongside my brothers." The girl cut her off.

"Wait I have uncles?"

"Yes, Rain you do. I will tell you about them and even take you to meet them, but first let me finish answering your question. I fought alongside my brothers against your father's army in an attempt to keep you safe from him. He is not a good being and I wanted you to be happy. He would do unspeakable things to you, I was sure of it. So my brothers and I went to war against your father. Somehow he was able to sneak past and stop take you anyway. Your uncle found him and took you from him. Not knowing what to do he hid you."

"So it's my uncle's fault I have been alone all this time?" the girl was sniffling, hardly able to hold back her tears again.

"Were you alone Rain? What about that Cat or this fine lady here. Or the Gift you still wear on your neck even as we speak? Were you really alone?" The woman nodded at Fa, "Thank you for taking care of her?"

"It was an honor, my lord." The girl looked at Fa then back at Luna.

"My lord? Luna are you royal?" Luna laughed again.

"I am both a Princess and a Queen. Just as you are a Princess and someday may be a Queen if you wish to be."

"Luna," The girl paused and looked back into Luna's eyes, "Mother, What are you." Luna bowed deeply to the girl in the cloak.

"Rain, I am your mother, I am the Queen of our realm, and I am the Goddess of the Moon."
