October 6th  - 26 Weeks

It was another Pay-Per-View Sunday, today's Pay-Per-View? Hell In A Cell. Rebecca was at home this time around, her doctor wanted her to slow down on her traveling the closer she got to birth, she was still allowed to travel up until she was 35 weeks and then she was told to cease all traveling to avoid any unneeded stress on her body.

Holly decided to take this time that her son wasn't around and spend it with her future daughter-in-law that night. They were sitting on the couch watching the Pay-Per-View almost in silence until Holly spoke up.

"How are you really dear?" she questioned and Rebecca looked over at her with a small smile

"I'm okay" she nodded "Tired because I'm not sleeping as much but I'm okay" she said

"Are you two getting excited?" she asked with a smile
"We are" she said "We have started talking about nursery ideas and we have to start shopping next week, Colby wants to have everything done by the time I'm like 32 weeks"

"He's very excited but I also know my son, He's anxious"

"Has he told you that?" she asked and Holly gave her a knowing smile

"No" she shook her head "Something you will learn very quickly is how to read your children, you will know that something is bothering them just by the look on their face and they can try to hide it all they want but you will know when something is wrong with your baby"

"What's wrong with him?" Rebecca questioned, now growing concerned "He's not planning on just leaving me is he?"

"No!" Holly exclaimed "No dear" she shook her head with a laugh "He's not going anywhere and even if he wanted to I wouldn't let him. He may be grown but he still has to listen to his mom" she said and Rebecca laughed slightly as she let out a sigh of relief

"Then what is it? What's bothering him? because every time I talk to him he's excited"

"He's worried" Holly nodded "He's so worried but he's just not showing you because he doesn't want to scare you" she explained "I've had plenty of conversations with him over the last few weeks especially and he's been reading the internet which is something you never do" she shook her head "and he's got all of these horror stories in his head from birth, He's worried about the baby not being okay and he is worried about you not making it"

"He thinks I'm going to die?" she questioned and then she thought back to the conversation they had back in the ice cream shop in Dublin months ago and she nodded "This may have been my fault" she said

"How so?" Holly questioned confused

"I mentioned to him that I was worried about the birth a few months ago because there have been multiple women to die from childbirth.. I put this idea in his head" she said shaking her head, this was her fault

"Oh.. sweetheart, it's okay to be nervous" she nodded as she reached for her hand "It is okay to be terrified because labor and delivery is something that is beautiful and it is a magical experience but it is also scary and hard, you're going to be tested more than you ever have in your life, You're going to be exhausted but the second that you hear that cry for the first time" she shook her head with a smile "You will forget everything you went through the last few hours and your main focus will become this beautiful baby" she said and Rebecca smiled "Now Colby on the other hand" she laughed "He's going to try everything in his power to make sure you're okay and you're going to get annoyed with him quickly" she said and Rebecca laughed "but you need to remember that he loves you more than anything in the world and seeing you in pain like that is going to break his heart and he is going to feel so helpless during that entire journey so I know you're going to be focused on getting the baby out safely and healthy but you also need to be patient with him" she said and Rebecca nodded

She loved her conversations with Holly, they were rarely one on one but when they were she got a lot of amazing advice and she felt loved by that woman. Holly honestly was starting to feel like a second mother to her and Colby was loving seeing the relationship between the two grow stronger and stronger as the months passed.
