Colby saw Rebecca throw the test and storm out of the room and he stood up quickly, following her down the stairs
"It's broken" she said
"Where are you going?" he asked as he watched her grab the keys from the counter
"To get more tests, that one is broken" she said and he grabbed the keys from her hand
"I'll go" he said "You can't drive when you're freaking out like this" he shook his head
"Colby" she said and he placed a kiss to her lips quickly
"I'll go" he said "Just sit down and breathe" he said and she nodded
He walked back into the house thirty minutes later and looked in the living room, where he left her and she wasn't there
"Becks!" he yelled as he walked up the stairs and into their room "Rebecca.." he said and he walked into their bathroom and saw her sitting on the floor with her back against the bathtub as she held her knees to her chest and she looked up at him "I got them.." he said holding the bag up and she pointed to the counter and he looked over to see a line of tests
"They're all positive" she said in a whisper and he sat the bag on the floor before sitting next to her
"Why are you freaking out.. you didn't freak out this much when we found out you were pregnant with Ella"
"I was young and stupid" she said shaking her head "We have three kids Colby, I'm one person how am I supposed to split myself any more? I constantly am trying to make sure I spend time with Ava, with Olivia, with Ella, making sure I call your mom, my mom, my dad, making sure our relationship is in a good place.. now I'm going to add another baby onto that" tears began to fall now "I'm only one person! How am I supposed to do all of that?" she asked
"Hey.." he said waving his hand in front of her "Remember me? Colby.. your husband? I'm right here with you"
"I'm not ready to be pregnant again" she shook her head
"You may not be ready but you handle it like a champ every time" he said and she nodded slightly, if he wasn't looking right at her he never would have seen it and he smile the smallest smile, he didn't want to show his excitement right now.. she needed him to just be there to listen to her "Question.." he said and she looked at him
"What?" she asked
"What do you want to do with the 20 pregnancy tests I just bought?" he asked holding the bag up and she took it from him, opening it and looking in at all the boxes
"What's this?" she asked pulling out a gold bag
"I just remember when you were pregnant with the girls all you wanted the first few weeks were sour gummy worms" he shrugged "I just figured it might be best to start a stockpile now" he said and she wrapped her arms around him
"You're the best" she said "Have I told you that lately?" she asked and he shook his head "Well you are" she nodded "I wouldn't want to life with anybody else" she smiled
"Nobody else" he placed a kiss to her lips
They spent the rest of the night mainly quiet, they watched a movie and then caught up on one of the many shows they'd been binge watching lately before checking in on the twins one last time with Annette and then they went to bed..
Laying there, Colby couldn't sleep and he looked down at his wife who looked so peaceful against his chest.. he couldn't help but think how much this was going to change their lives, yes a baby was a change no matter how many kids you already have but having two kids that were both three years old and very much Mommy's girls and the fact that they would have to shared Mommy in a few months was going to be a huge adjustment, then he didn't want Ella to think because she went to school and didn't stay at home as much anymore that she was being replaced, She was unplanned but this one was really unplanned. He called it fate, something in him just always told him he would end up with four kids, all girls.. and so far he was on that track.
He ran his hand through Rebecca's hair and felt her nuzzle closer to him
"Colby.." she said quietly
"Hmm?"
"I really do think this one is a boy" she whispered
