Ella sat on Ashley's lap as she watched her parents share their first dance as a married couple. She looked up at the blonde with a small smile
"Aunt Ashley" she said and the blonde looked down at her "Can I be your maid of honor?" she asked
"I think your mom would actually hit me if I let you take her place" Ashley said and the little girl's face dropped "but I'll tell you what, you can be a junior bridesmaid if you want"
"Is that important?" she asked curiously
"It is" she nodded "Not as important as the job you had today but it's important"
"Do I get to wear a dress?" she asked and Ashley nodded "Do I have to throw stupid flowers?" she asked and the blonde laughed
"No love, but you will get a bouquet like you had today"
"Can I keep it?" she asked
"Of course" Ashley nodded "You can also help Manny and I pick out the cake" she said and the little girl's eyes widened as a bright smile grew on her face
"Now you're talking" she nodded and Ashley laughed
Rebecca laid her head contently against Colby's chest as they swayed back and forth on the dance floor with the family watching with smiles on their faces. She looked up at him with a smile as he looked down at her
"What?" he asked with a laugh
"It only took me six years but I finally got you on a dance floor" she said
"This is the only time you will ever see me dancing" he said with a shake of his head "So you better soak it all in"
"Even when your daughter gets married?" she questioned "You've got to dance with her on that day" she said
"We're not even going to think about that day for a very long time"
"You can't tell me that you didn't at least think about it for one second when you saw her walking down the aisle"
"I did" he nodded "and it was enough to almost break me down then, I'm not about to break down right now" he shook his head
"I thought I was supposed to be the emotional one in the relationship right now"
"Your stupid hormones are starting to rub off on me" he said and she laughed
Rebecca and Colby finished their dance, cut the cake that part was what Ella was most excited for, they danced and celebrated for hours with friends and family.
They finally pulled themselves away from the friends who were still partying into the night.
Rebecca placed a quick kiss on her daughter's head as she was peacefully asleep in Ashley's arms with her head on the blonde's shoulder.
"Be good for Ashley and Manny" Rebecca said kissing her daughter once more and then Colby did the same before they slipped away
Colby watched from the edge of the bed in the hotel room as Rebecca took her hair down in the mirror. He watched her reach for the buttons that lined the back of the dress before she looked back at him with a small smile. He stood up and began to move his hand gently over the buttons to help her
"Don't take this the wrong way" he said and she looked up at him "How in the hell did you get in this dress? I don't think it could get any tighter" he said and she laughed
"I wasn't pregnant when we got engaged remember?" she questioned and he nodded "I wasn't pregnant when I picked this dress, it was beautiful and it fit my body perfectly at the time"
"It still fits your body perfectly" he said with a smile
"You looked very handsome today by the way" she said
"Thanks" he smiled "My wife picked it out"
She disappeared into the bathroom to change into comfortable clothing, which was loose sweats and tight tank top that showed off her ever growing bump. He took the time she was changing to change himself, that's the thing about being together for so long, they were so comfortable with one another and neither one was really worried about impressing each other.
"COLBY!" He heard the redhead scream as she walked back into the room with both hands over her bump
"What's wrong?" he asked growing concerned quickly and she shook her head as she quickly grabbed his hand and placed it under hers where he almost instantly felt the faintest tap to his hand "Woah" he said as he looked at her and she smiled "Have you felt this before?" he asked
"I thought I felt one of them in the middle of our vows but I was more focused on you at that point" she explained and he nodded as he felt another tap to his hand and then another and he smiled "They're crazy active right now" she said
"You've kept them all sucked up in that corseted dress all day, they finally have room in their to move.. you're not suffocating them anymore" he said and she laughed
