8 weeks later...

January 3rd..

Rebecca and Colby had yet to find another school for their daughter to attend in the area, they were learning that not only was she kicked out of the elementary school, she was kicked out of the district. That would mean that the little girl would have to go to a school somewhere further away from home which didn't sit well with either Rebecca or Colby.

The trio talked for a few weeks on what to do and realized that the best option for their daughter and for their family was for Ella to go back to being homeschooled by her mother which Ella loved the idea of, Rebecca was overwhelmed with it but she knew her daughter needed an unconventional way of learning to actually succeed.

Colby watched from the desk as his wife led her class with full dignity and grace. If he wasn't there to see it and hold her, he would never had known his wife had cried for almost twenty minutes over paint colors, before fixing her makeup just in time to start her writing/production class. Her job was to help the students come up with their characters, to help with their promos and to help them learn how it all works. Her husband's job was obviously the harder one if you asked her, he was the one in charge of actually training and teaching the students to wrestle. If you asked him, he'd say his job was the easiest and hers was the hardest. Regardless of who was right, they both worked extremely hard and they were both very dedicated to the students and they shared a bond with each of the 14 students.

Colby watched as his wife stopped in the middle of her sentence and stare at him and he knew the look, he had seen it multiple times. She was in pain

"Let's get in the ring..." Colby said as he got the attention of the class away from his wife and the group got up and began to move towards the ring as he walked up to her "Hey.." He said quietly as he grabbed her hand "What is it?" He asked

"Something's wrong.." she said

"Are you feeling sick?" He asked and noticed the group staring at them "Josh.. Lead them please" he said to the man standing behind the desk

"Got it" Josh said and got in the ring while Colby turned his attention back to his wife

"What's going on?" He asked as he walked behind her towards the bathroom and she locked the door behind them

"Rebecca.." He said as she went to the stall and he could hear her shuffling around "What is going on?" He asked once more and she was silent before he watched her walk out of the stall, she was pale and shaky "What?" He asked now growing concerned

"I'm bleeding.." she said

"Are you sure?" He asked

"Am I sure that there is blood coming out of me?" she snapped

"Okay..Okay.. Let's go" He said grabbing her hand and leading her out of the bathroom before he felt her stop walking and he turned back to see her bent over

"Ow.." she said quietly but loud enough for her husband to hear it

"Rebecca we need to go!" He said beginning to panic

"I can't move!" she snapped back at him with tears in her eyes and he did the only thing he could think of at the moment, he picked her up in his arms and began to take her to the car

"Josh! You're in charge!" He yelled over his shoulder as he walked out of the school

Rebecca knew what was happening, she'd been through it before. Her husband however was trying to remain calm and positive as they drove to the Emergency Room. She looked over at him and saw his knuckles that were gripping the steering wheel of the car were white. He was panicked, and angry all in one and that was not a combination she was ready to deal with.

"It's getting tighter.." she said quietly and he looked over at her "It is" she said and grabbed his hand, placing it on her stomach and he looked at where it was placed and had to fight the back the tears that were threatening to form in his eyes

"That's normal, it feels normal" he said denying it "They're just growing so your skin's stretching" he said quietly and she shook her head

"No.. Colby" she said "I know what's happening" she said looking up at him fearful of his reaction

"You're not in labor" he shook his head "You're only 26 weeks" he dismissed "This is something else"

"I may not be in labor but I am having contractions" she said "and very often at that" she said as she looked at his hand that hadn't moved since she placed it on her stomach

"It's going to be okay.. no matter what, it'll be okay" she said filling the silence in the car "I mean if this is it, then I guess we get to meet them sooner than we thought" she said with a shrug

"How are you so calm right now?"

"Because I'm scared" she said in a whisper and he looked over at her for a second and then back to the road "If I let myself freak out it's only going to make it worse" she said with a shake of her head "It's going to be fine" she said once more with a nod

He just kept his own thoughts to himself, he was just as scared as she was but he couldn't show it. He couldn't let her know that he was terrified because then she would know for sure that something was really wrong. All he could do was be there for her and help her however he could, and if his two apparently already stubborn kids were going to be born today then they were going to be ready for them.
