Dan shuts my side door of his somewhat expensive pure red pickup truck, then his own as he starts the perfect car engine.
Dan then searches for a radio station to fit our needs, before driving. Suddenly, the scanning ends and the song choice was brilliant. It was Hang Me Up To Dry by Cold War Kids.
"Oh my gosh, I love Cold War Kids!" I announced while blurting out lyrics.
"No way! They're like one of my favorite bands, besides The Beatles!" Dan answers loudly.
Soon enough we both were jamming out in his truck and every time we hit a red stop light, we both danced in our seats, as cheesy as we are, with neighbors in cars next to us, glaring at Dan and I shamefully.
"I'm pearly like the wh-wh-whites of your eyes !" Dan and I yelled.
That marked the ending of the amazing song.
A few extra songs soon played after Cold War Kids that we didn't recognized, so we sat silently, hoping for a song that we knew, would come on the radio station.
"Please play The Beatles." Dan kept whispering continuously, like a little fanboy.
Moments of a radio host male constantly talked about variety of topics, when all of a sudden-
"You say you want a revolution, well you know, we all want to change the world-"
What are the odds of that.. The Beatles and on the radio. I sat in shock.
"Are you kidding me!" Dan screeched, "Revolution is my all-time favorite song by The Beatles!"
Dan eventually was full-on singing and beating on the steering-wheel along with the drum ticks, having his own small jam set.
I've never seen him like this before.
