He Ain't For Me

"Jesus, Anna! C'mon late na tayo." Sabi ko habang hinihila sya palabas ng comfort room. We've been here for about 30 minutes dahil hindi pa daw sya satisfied sa mukha nya. Ano pa bang gusto nya? kahit maghapon kami dito di parin magbabago itsura nya kung tititig lang sya sa salamin. I don't understand this girl.

"Do I look good na ba?" Tanong nya habang inaalis yung kamay kong nakahawak sa kanya at pilit sinisipat ang sarili sa salamin.

Tinignan ko naman sya mulo ulo hanggang paa. She's really pretty pero hindi sya naniniwala.

Napabuga nalang ako ng hangin dahil sa sobrang vain nya.

"You always look good. So please lang tara na mag e-eight na oh." Turo ko sa relo ko at tuluyan na syang hinigit palabas.

Ang aga ko ngang nagising pero parang wala rin. Di nga ako nag breakfast dahil first day namin ngayon at ayokong malate.

"Ugh stop dragging me naman, nasasaktan kaya ako." Reklamo nya.

I looked at her and rolled my eyes. Binitawan ko sya at muntikan pang masubsob. Psh ang arte kasi.

Tinignan ko ang dinadaanan namin, Ganon pa din, walang nagbago parang kailan lang noong huling beses akong umapak dito.

The wind blows my hair and I can already feel the presence of home. Gosh, I miss this place. I'd be lying if I say na hindi ako napamahal sa university na 'to but I would be a hypocrite if I say na gusto kong bumalik dito. After everything that happened? Nah.

But of course I had no choice but to study here dahil yun yung gusto ng parents ko.

The university is situated on an 8 hectare urban campus. A display of the Seven Archangels and the Holy Guardian Angel can be found in the Epiphany of Angels Park on the campus. There are a lot of buildings in this area that are constructed uniquely with various architectural designs. Some are contemporary structures with glass walls, while others have modern architecture that is influenced by early church design features, such as vertical lines that suggest rising upward. In close proximity to the theater and library, which are located in a green glass building, there is a fountain. Additionally, the site is surrounded by a large number of trees. As soon as we arrived at the blue glass structure with nine levels, we stopped walking. This is the building where our college is located.

It is the middle of the semester, pero ngayon palang kami papasok dahil kakauwi lang namin last week. I was living with Anna in California and we studied there for a while, pero naisapan din naming bumalik at dito nalang ipagpatuloy because our parents forced us to do so. Matagal na daw yung pag s-stay namin doon and now it's the right time para umuwi.

But for me, this is far from the right timing. Masyado pang maaga, masyado pang mabilis.

We are taking up BSBA major in Business Management at kasalukuyang nasa third year na.

When we got to the third floor, I halted in front of the door and looked over at Anna, who was now coming my way.

"Are you ready?" Nakangiting tanong nito.

"May choice pa ba?" Bumuntong hininga ako. This is it.

Pinihit ko yung pinto at dahan dahang tinignan ang classroom. Sinilip ko pa yung ulo ko baka mamaya may prof na pala. Pero tumayo ako nang tuwid ng masiguradong wala pa.

Dahan dahan kaming naglakad patungo sa bandang dulong upuan. I immediately bow my head when I saw them staring at us. Geez, this is why I hate attention.

Halos kasing sabay lang naming dumating yung Professor.

Katabi ko si Anna sa left habang vacant naman yung sa right. I turned my eyes to the side. This building was made of glass so you can somehow see the surroundings. Binaba ko yung tingin ko sa ilalim. I can see others na nagtatatakbo dahil siguro late na sila while yung iba parang wala naman pakialam at naglalakad ng pagka bagal-bagal.
