It's not funny, how her confusion eats her up even now; it's not funny how she thinks this might never end.
There are many things she has had to learn... about the word 'Mother.'
So mother,
She wants to take it off her head. How a stranger you were under the same roof. How much outside she felt; yet she still slept inside. Given hatred to suffocate on.
Where is the sugar from her childhood? The smile the first you brought her into this world. She might be the rebel you see in your eyes, but you are also a rebel to the love that once flowed in your veins.
Did you want to trap her, or was it so true? Did you feel guilty when you took what was hers? Was it all true? Was it all a lie?
So you needed freedom? Why would you not build it? Why run from hell that once was your paradise? What is the name 'Mother' to this woman now? What is the truth? What is the lie?
Yet here he came. Yet in the middle of her story he came. He knows nothing of losing a mother. But through her words he can feel the flame that burns within. He has no words. But he has wishes, though he knows that wishes rarely come true.
He can't even say sorry. It's no one's fault. Because we are all helpless. But hope keeps us living. So keep breathing angel... keep living angel.
