July.

Shawn Mendes
Today was going to be one of the most manic days we have in our lives.
Everything was happening on one day.
I don't think anyone was ready.
I only realised how much we had going on today when I checked my phone calendar.

'Talk to Faiths parents'
'Go with them to her graduation'
'Fly home with Faith'
'Propose'

It was going to be a manic day.
"Morning." I said to her as I pulled on my jeans and she opened her eyes.
God she was so beautiful.
"I have to run and do something quickly. But I promise I'll be at your graduation" I said and she nodded sitting up.
"It's at nine. " She groaned.
"And our flight is at 11"  I said and she nodded.
"I love you" she smiled.
I leaned down and kissed her sweetly.
"I love you too. Take your pills" I said and she nodded.
"I know" she smiled. "God I don't feel good" she groaned.
"Do you need me to stay?" I said.
"No no. I'll be fine. Go" she smiled.
I nodded and ran out the door.

"Shawn breathe" Fran said as she hugged me.
I breathed in deeply and released it.
I was so nervous.
I shook her step dad, John's hand as we sat down.
I was about to open my mouth as Fran's phone rang.
"Sorry. One second it's Faith. Hello my darling...oh god...do you need me to come?...ok ok...just try and breathe...I'll see you soon" Fran sighed before putting the phone down.
"Is she ok?" I asked.
"She's thrown up everywhere" Fran sighed.
"I knew I should have stayed with her." I said and ran my hands through my hair.
"She's ok. She's not sick" her stepdad said and I furrowed my eyebrows as I saw Fran kick him.
"She's just nervous" Fran said quickly. "Anyways, why did you want to meet us here?" She asked.
"Ok. Here goes."
"You want to propose to her" her stepdad said and folded his arms.
"But- how did you-"
"The ring box is hanging out of your coat pocket" he smiled and Fran hit his arm.
"You've ruined his moment now"
"It's fine. But yes. I do." I sighed.
"She's only nineteen. You're only twenty two"
"I'm not saying we have to get married now. I just want to propose. And yes, we've been together for a short amount of time but I love her." I said.
"You have my blessing" Fran said quickly and wiped her eyes, "I can't believe it really. After the summer last year we didn't think she would last till Christmas and now she's going to get married" she said and I smiled.
"I'll always looks after her"
"I know" she smiled. "Now, we better get to the graduation"

Francesca Elizabeth
I sighed as we got into the cab.
Shawn was in the front.
We were in the back.
"He technically has to marry her soon" John whispered and I glared at him.
"Don't you tell him. That's her business" I warned.
"She won't tell him" John said.
"She will. She just had to be sure" I said.

I sighed and looked out of the window.
As we pulled up to the institute and saw Faith I smiled widely.
I quickly took my little girl into my arms.
"Have you told him yet?" I whispered.
"No."
"You have to" I whispered.
"I will. I'm telling him tonight when we get to Canada" she whispered and I nodded.
I watched as Shawn kissed her and my heart swelled as I saw how happy they were.

Faith Elizabeth
All through the graduation I had to swallow the nausea I was feeling every half an hour.
I was also having to swallow the nervousness I had about telling Shawn.
Promising to be together was one thing but this was another.

"I'm so proud of you darling!" Mum said as I walked over to them with my distinction certificate.
"Thank you" I smiled.
"Are you going to be alright for the flight?" Shawn asked as we all stood together.
"I'll be fine." I smiled and he kissed my cheek.
"Miss Elizabeth?" A gentleman asked as he walked up to us.
"Yes?"
"Hello, my name is Mr Johnson. I'm the head of London Publishers" he smiled and shook my hand.
"Nice to meet you" I smiled.
"I read your book Miss Elizabeth. The one used for your final piece. I like it" Mr Johnson smiled.
"Thank you very much sir"
"I want it" he said and I heard my mother gasp from behind me.
"You want it?"
"Yes Miss Elizabeth. I'm offering you a three book contract. We love your work and if you'll allow us, we want to edit your final piece book, and turn it into something publishable" he smiled and I couldn't quite believe what I was hearing.
"Are you serious?" I asked and he nodded.
"What do you say?" He asked.
"I mean, sure." I said and he smiled, handing me a small card.
"This is my email. Send me your final piece and we'll get talking" he smiled and shook my hand again.
"Thank you so much" I smiled before he walked away.

"Oh my god" I said and the three people around me hugged me tight.
"You're going to be a star!" Mum grinned.
"Congratulations" Shawn said and hugged me tight. "And I don't mean to ruin the moment but we have a flight to catch."
