I couldn't believe what she was saying.
I fell to my knees and sobbed.
I felt my dads arms around me and I quickly looked up again.
"Come on let's leave them for a minute" Dad said and i saw as my family left the room.
They shut the door behind them.
I continued to cry.
"Shawn, I'm sorry. I didn't know that the antibiotics I was taking the other month stopped my pill. I'm sorry I was so silly." She said and I wiped my eyes quickly.
"Why are you apologising?" I said and pushed a smiled on my face.
"I should have known. It was irresponsible." She sniffed.
"No no" I said and quickly stood up and walked over to her. "I'm so happy" I cried and took her into my arms.
"You are?" She cried and I nodded.
"Of course I am. There's no need to be sorry. This is amazing" I smiled.
"But you're life is going to be so hectic and I can't be a mum. I'm going to be shit" she mumbled against my chest.
"Hey listen to me. I'm not doing another tour for about two years. And you'll learn!" I said trying to console her. "Are you wanting to keep it?" I asked.
"Yeah  I am." She smiled and I nodded.
"Then we do it together." I smiled.
"Ok" she said and I bent down to kiss her deeply.

I took a deep breath.
"Well I was planning on doing this tomorrow, but I think now is a good time" I said and reached into my pocket.
I pulled out the ring box and got down on one knee.
"Oh my god" she said with a little laugh. "Are you serious right now?"
"I'm so serious." I said and opened the box. "Now more than ever."
"I can't believe this" she said and I took one of her hands in mine.
"Marry me?" I smiled and she nodded.
"This is so inane" she said with a laugh as I slid the ring on her finger. "Aw it fits with the promise one"
"It's almost like I planned it"
"Shawn do you think we're rushing into this? We're really young" she sighed.
"We are young but other people have done it. And now Shawn junior is on the way it's pretty perfect" I laughed.
"It might not be a boy you know"
"It is" I laughed.
"Who are you now mystic meg?" She said and I couldn't help but laugh, throwing my head back in the process.
"I love you so much" I said and put my hand on her stomach.
"I love you too" she said.

Who would have guessed that after everything this is where we would have ended up?
I couldn't see it coming.
And If you'd told me that this is where we would have ended up this time last year I wouldn't have believed you.
And who would have thought that I would meet my future wife and mother of my child on a train?
