Shawn Mendes
I could see something wasn't right with Faith during the whole eight hour journey.
She didn't talk and kept clutching at her stomach.
I tried to distract her from feeling sick by talking about now excited my parents were to see her but she still could do nothing more than nod.

The house looked no different.
I was excited to see my parents.
"I'm scared" Faith said and she clutched my hand as we stood outside the door. "I haven't been here since-"
"I know. And if you don't want to do it we can leave. It's all up to you." I said and she breathed deeply.
"No. No let's do it" she said.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes" she said and clutched her stomach again.
"What's going on with your stomach?" I asked.
"I-"
"Oh my goodness look at you two!" Mum said as she threw open the door and took us both into her arms.
"Hi mum" I smiled.
"Now I know you're not staying long but I've got a few bits to eat" she said and welcomed us in.
Dad was just as excited to see her.
"I'm really sorry but I just need to go to the loo" Faith said and dashed for the toilet.

"Something is not right with her" I sighed as my parents and I sat in the living room.
"What's been happening?" Mum asked.
"She threw up this morning and she just been really nauseous over the past few days" I sighed and Mum jumped up from her seat and ran to the toilet.
"Women" dad laughed and I smiled.
"Hey" Aaliyah said walking into the room and giving me a hug. "You done it yet?"she asked with a grin.
"No. No I haven't. I was planning on taking her to the train station tomorrow and getting on the same train we met on" I smiled.
Dad and Aaliyah smiled and nodded.
"She's a good one" he said and I saw tears welling up in his eyes.
"What's wrong?" I smiled.
"You're just grown up now. Both of you. It's just crazy to think about how far you've come" he said and I hugged him.
"I know. Even I don't believe it sometimes" I smiled.

Faith Elizabeth
"God I'm so screwed" I cried as Karen hugged me tight.
I couldn't stop the tears from falling.
She rocked me back and forward as we sat on the bathroom floor. Things always went wrong while I was here. It was just inevitable.
"You are not screwed. It will all work out. I promise" she said and I groaned.
"Not how I planned my life to go. At all" I said and Karen smiled.
"You can't plan your life. Things just happen. It's how you deal with it. That's what counts" she said and I nodded. "Come on. Let's go find the boys"

"Shawn!" She yelled.
"We're in my room!" He yelled back and I felt my knees get weak.
"Oh yeah. We did up Shawn's room while he was away. Do you want to come up and have a look?  I understand if you don't want to" she said but I nodded.
"No no. It's time" I said and Karen held my hand as we walked up the stairs.
I felt my hand shaking as we stood outside his room. All the unhappiness started in there.
It all ended for me in that one room.
As she opened the door I saw that indeed it had all changed.
But the memories still remained.
They wouldn't go away anytime soon.
It had only been a year.

Both men and Aaliyah turned to us and I felt the tears well up in my eyes.
Shawn gave me a surprised look and I felt Karen's arm around me.
"It's looks lovely" I said and tried to hide the tears with a smile.
"Oh sweetheart" Karen said and hugged me tightly.
"I have something to share" I said on a spur of adrenaline.
I looked between all members of the Mendes family and wiped my eyes.
"This room has so many bad memories for me. So many" I began and I saw Shawn's eyes start to well up, "but I want to replace the bad memories with a good one. A scary one. But good one" I said.

Shawn looked between me and Karen, tears rolling down his cheeks. Karen gave my side a squeeze and I smiled through my own tears.
"What's going on?" Shawn croaked.
"There's a reason I've not been feeling well. And it's not just been anxiety" I said and looked to Aaliyah and Manny.
They had cottoned on.
They both gasped and put Aaliyah her hands to her mouth.
"What's wrong?" Shawn said.
Oblivious man.
"Shawn I'm pregnant"
