My boyfriend, Denki Kaminari,
is a college student who was supposed to be on his way here since Friday but has gotten stuck at the airport due to an ongoing blizzard thats been going on for days. But we've been Skyping and he keeps me updated with an occasional joke or two. And the cherry on top of the whole ice cream sundae is that I now have to work Christmas eve and I dont have the money to buy Kaminari anything...

Y/N:" Hello?"

Denki:" Yo Yo Yo how's my lovely lady doing?"

Y/N:" Good Im excited to see you again. It's been a while."

Denki:" Agreed. But I might not be able to come home until... Saturday.."

Y/N:" Seriously!? Man the weather is fucked Im telling you."

Denki:" Hahaha that's so true! But I promise Ill be there Saturday for sure. Ill drown you in my love!"

Y/N:" Hehe Im looking forward to it sparky."

Denki:" Oh! I gotta go my computer is about to die love you!"

Y/N:" Love you-"

Y/N:" Too..."
Why... Why do I feel like crying.
Back in high school me and Kaminari would spend Christmas together no matter how much my parents hated him he still came over and would spend it with me.
The next morning it was Christmas eve and I have never felt so alone on the most happiest time of the year. As I usually start my day I brush my teeth and get ready for work. Except I have to wait till 8. Unfortunately my parents now live in the states so I can't even go and see them and I don't think they want to see me. Why has this year been so... so depressing? Time passed by and all I could do was sit in my apartment and watch the Christmas countdown.
Eventually evening strolled in
And I had to head to work. I put on my cardigan, beanie, scarf, and gloves and headed out toward the town square which was now completely empty. The snow fell so softly and the clock was ticking.

Boss:" sorry to call you in on Christmas Eve Y/N."

Y/N:" It's fine really I didn't have much to do anyway..."

Boss:" I promise next year you'll get the whole month of December off."
The boss ran out into the city
Leaving me to the store. No one was really coming in so I turned on the
T. V and continued to watch the Christmas countdown. Only three more hours until Christmas day only four more days of being alone. If only Denki and his dumb Denki jokes could be here. I... Miss him so freaking much if only the world wasn't so damn normal.
I laid my head on the counter
and rested closed my head when I heard the door open.

Y/N:" Welcome to Barbra's bakery how can I... help you."
It was Denki who was panting
and out of breath and his face red.

Y/N:" Denki? I thought you weren't supposed to get here till Saturday!?"

Denki: "well I-I lied. I was actually already on my way here. But the only thing that kept me was that I had to... buy something."

Y/N:" No you shouldn't have I didn't even get you anything!"
I slid over the counter and went over to him.

Denki:" Y/N Christmas is about spending time with loved ones and I want to spend every one with you and just you. Being apart is so difficult sometimes I want to throw away my education just to come see you just to forget the dumb Skype call where I can't even touch you! Y/N I... I love you so much!"
He got down on one knee and
I couldn't help but gasp. I knew that this was coming but still I felt so overwhelmed.

Denki:" M-Moan me..."
He flushed Red. It was adorable
he had fumbled on his words.

Y/N:" Yes Denki, I'll moan you hehe~"
He smiled got up and kissed me.
We both smiled and hugged each other. Maybe this is why Christmas was so lonely at first. Because it was gonna be so overwhelming in the end.
