School AU (again...)

Test Tube's POV
I walked up to the school gates feeling a strange sort of sickness that I didn't understand. I'd always get it when I came to school but I'd never understand it. I shrugged it off and walked into my classroom.

I always liked coming to class early so I could review my notes and study the strange sickness I seemed to be suffering from. There was no need to review my notes since I knew all the things we've been learning.

"Heeey Testy!" I looked back to see Lightbulb entering the room. "Salutations Lightbulb." I replied looking through my notes on my sickness. Maybe Lightbulb could know a thing or two about it?

"Lightbulb, by any chance do you have any idea on what I seem to be suffering from?" She looked at me quizzically. She sat in the seat in front of me and faced me. "I don't know but talk to me TT!" I sighed. Her energy seems to run off an infinite source.

"I have this strange illness were when I think of someone," I didn't want to say it was specifically her, "I feel warm and I feel like I want their attention a lot." I plainly stated lifting up my glasses. She let out a small giggle making me feel that awfully good sickness again.

"Testy you're in love!" She said almost happily while I sat there confused. "What is this love you speak of?" I asked in all seriousness. She looked at me with disbelief. "I thought you were meant to know what everything is!" She suddenly exclaimed.

I shook my head. "Even Einstein had questions about the world." She took a few seconds to think before defining. "Love is a warm and fuzzy feeling you get when you love someone in a romantic way. You can love someone as family, a friend or in a romantic way, which seems to be how you're feeling!" She explained.

I nodded noting what she said down. "You can also feel love towards certain things like pets, objects, hobbies and subjects. Ways people show love also vary like hugging, kissing and so on so forth!" I began to understand the feeling a bit more.

Lightbulb leaned forward in her seat. "So who you got the hots for?" She asked smugly. I felt my face heat up. She looked at me with her bright smile. "Uh well um I-I just wanted to know about the feeling!" I said trying to keep my composure.

"I though you said you were suffering from the sickness that turned out to be love?" Golly! Why did I have to say that? I mentally facepalmed. "Umm well you see..." She laughed at my futile attempt to prove my statement correct.

"Case closed because Testy's in love!" She exclaimed leaning forward. "So who's the lucky person?" I looked up to see her right in front of me. Out of shock I squeaked and fell to the ground.

"OMGA! Are you okay Test Tube?" She asked helping me up. I tried to get up but winced when I tried to add weight to my right leg. "Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! I have to get you to the nurse!" Lightbulb exclaimed lifting me up.

She placed a hand under my back and one under my knees before starting through the halls. Luckily no one would come in this early because everyone would usually stay outside. She kicked the door open and ran in. She went up to the nurse and started panicking.

"WhyhellotheremissmybestieTestTubefelloverandherlegishurtingcamyoupleasetreather!" She said in one long breath. The nurse somehow understood her and guided Lightbulb and I to the closest bed.

She began running simple tests on my ankle and deduced that I had sprained it. "I'll give you a pair of crutches to use for the day and after school you should come and see me okay?" I nodded.

The nurse gave me the crutches and Lightbulb helped me learn how to use them. "I'm so sorry Test Tube! I did this!" Lightbulb rambled. I put my hands on her shoulders and she turned to look at me.

Well here goes everything... I bent down since she's shorter than me... and lightly pecked her lips. She stopped speaking almost immediately and turned a bright scarlet red. "W-Wha? I didn't know you liked me Test Tube?!" She began panicking again.

I sighed and kissed her again. She just became even more confused as I kept a straight (lol) face. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What?!" I facepalmed. "I love you Lightbulb." I plainly stated. "I-I love you too Testy!"

I hope this was okay and this is my last Oneshot for the year! Soon it's gonna be New Years! So happy New Years peeps and note that requests are always open! If you're ever feeling bored on the holidays feel free to request something cuz I don't really have much to do so ya!
