This Oneshot will contain spoilers to the Steven Universe Movie and the series
I think you'll know when to start playing the music!
I honestly love Spinel and Leafy so mixing things up seemed cute!
Steven Universe AU
I'll be changing a few things however
In this AU people can live forever but they can get killed.
Mkay so here are all the characters mentioned:
Spinel: Leafy
Pink Diamond/Rose: Firey
Steven: Grassy (cuz I don't like Firey jr.)

Leafy's POV

I lightly giggled when the sound of footsteps on the soft grass echoed through the garden. I smiled as I saw Firey walk in adorning his bright orange tuxedo as usual. "Oh Leafy? Where are you?" I ran behind the next podium as he looked around cluelessly. I quietly made my way behind him and ambushed him. "Hi Firey!" He laughed and hugged me back.

"Hello Leafy..." I smiled and took him over to our special place in the garden. We played and played for hours until he stood up and began walking away. I didn't understand. He was the only person who ever came in here to see me and where was he going? I have to keep him here. He's all I have and all I ever will.

I ran up to him and grasped onto his arm with a smile. He returned one but it wasn't as genuine. "Here in the garden," He turned towards me and held my hands in his. "Let's play a game!" He guided me to the middle of the expanse of greenery. "I'll show you how it's done." He stood in front of me, my hands still in his.

"Here in the garden, stand very still. This'll be so much fun!" And then he smiled, that's what I'm after! A smile in his eyes, the sound of his laughter. I was happy to listen, happy to play. I stood there happily watching him drift away. He walked out the door with a sigh.

Happily waiting, all on my own. Under the endless sky. Counting the seconds, standing alone as thousands of years go by. Happily wondering, night after night, is this how it works? Am I doing it right? Happy to listen, happy to stay. I stood there happily watching him drift away.

He kept on turning pages, for people who didn't care. People who don't care about you. And still, it took me ages to see that no one was there. To see that no one was there. To see that no one was there... Everyone went on without me... I shakily sighed as a tear dripped down my cheek.

The screen at the opposite side of the garden sparked to life. Finally something, finally news, about how the story ends. He doesn't exist now... Survived by his son and all of his brand new... friends. Isn't that lovely? Isn't that cool? And isn't that cruel? And aren't I a fool? To have happily listened, happily stayed. I happily watched him drift away...

I ripped my feet from the brambles that engulfed them over the years and approached the slightly cracked screen. He left me... For all those no ones? I growled and walked to the overgrown vines by the craft table. I ripped them back and took out a bag. I peeked inside. Perfect. Rejuvenating juice, exactly what I needed.

I cracked a smile and walked to the mirror in the large storage room. He said I looked beautiful like this but he's gone now so it doesn't matter. I let out my untamed hair and grasped a dagger in my hand. I sliced the hair off until I was left with a side shaved pixie cut. I smiled at my disheveled face in the mirror. I am a monster because of him and he's gonna get what he deserved all those years ago.

I tucked the blade away and snatched the remote by the door. I pressed the on button and placed it into my bag. He's gonna get what he deserved for leaving me behind. I made my way to the large injector by the door. All ready.

I drove the injector down to the beach where I saw them perched on a cliff. Just what I needed. I switched the injector on and stood on top. Before I knew it the injector lifted off and was high up in the clouds. It was a shame Firey decided to leave me after he locked me in a garden.

Now it's time to say goodbye to his other friends.

Yeah I know it's short but I just had a super cool idea for another Oneshot so yeah!
