A/N

i would die for this to be canon
now, i bet you're expecting a sick-fic
technically you'd be right
but also no
you'll see ;]
also also to the person who requested tissyang fluff
... you can say i put a lot less angst in here than i was originally going to
that's the best you're getting-

okay i'm going to start now
the warning list looks really misleading but i promise it isn't as bad as it looks
Okay i'll say the start is pretty sad but like it gets better i swear!!

Yin talks like this
Yang talks like this

!!WARNING!!

This oneshot contains:

A hospital setting (trust me, hospitals can SUCK for some people so this was necessary)

A minimal amount of angst under my terms (i am so sorry editor can tell you an actual rating)

Needles, ventilators, all that medical equipment jazz

Inappropriate jokes because i am a literal child (E/N: that's literally all your oneshots) (A/N meanie >:()

Self-harm

Suicidal thoughts

Panic attacks/mental breakdowns

Loneliness represented through isolation

Death

E/N: I'm really not trusting the author's rating of angst after the warning list but I'll read through and see

E/N: Ok never mind, it's fine y'all, just a few sad parts

3rd POV

Bleak white rooms sealed away by clear walls were all Tissues had grown to know.

Soon after his birth, Tissue's mother died from a highly contagious infection, an illness he was diagnosed with soon after. Ever since then, he's been in and out of negative pressure chambers, only allowed to exit with proper protective clothing or if his physical state 'improved.' (A/N i genuinely promise, this is the only reason why i included a warning for death)

To say he hated it was an understatement.

He'd move around every second week, sometimes with just a mask and gloves and sometimes in an isolation chamber. His father would try to visit, but his job was demanding and he had to travel everywhere to finish off tasks. All the nice nurses would get moved to more important patients soon after they were assigned to him, and the ones who stayed did the bare minimum in terms of interacting with him. A doctor would pop in every now and again. Some were nice to talk to, while others only ran tests on him. None would stay longer than a couple hours. When he would get transferred to a general ward, other patients thought he was disgusting. He'd get moved away too fast to rebut their claims. At one point, they had brought in a psychiatrist, mostly due to the fact that he stopped talking a month prior. They were nice but soon after had to leave for other patients.

Put simply, Tissues was lonely and he hated it.

He was testing a new idea. He decided to stop talking again, just to see what the nurses would do. Tissues had been in a negative pressure chamber for a day and a half and he was desperate to get out.

"Good news." A nurse walked in with no protective clothing other than a mask and gloves. Her joyful expression was clearly strained. "The doctor said we can bring you into the general ward again!"
