Book's POV

The leaves danced with the breeze as I sat on the partially damp grass. I only recently realised how rude I was to my entire team. I glazed at the web of dew drops to my right. Everyone probably hates me now.

"Hey Book?" I turned around in shock to see Taco standing there. I felt my face grow warm as I rested my weight on my palms. She came and sat next to me, her lettuce swaying in the soft breeze. She looked stunning. I obviously didn't say that out loud since she probably hates me.

"Yeah Taco?" I whispered sadly. I gazed at the pond ahead of me. "I just wanted to say thank you... for ya know saving me..." I looked at her in shock. "You don't hate me?" I asked. She smiled brightly and nodded. I was so happy.

I hugged her tightly as tears fled down my hardcover surface, getting absorbed into her tortilla. "I have to admit that you were really exaggerating the fact that I went missing although I was stuck in an unopened jawbreaker... But it's okay now Book!"

I smiled and pulled away from the hug, looking into her eyes. "Thank you Taco... You don't know how much that means to me..." I wiped my tears and smiled at her. I then remembered we were alone.

"Hey Taco... Can I tell you something?" She nodded, placing her hand on mine. "I have these... Feelings for someone... As in like-like feelings." She seemed to light up at that statement. "Ooooh~ Who is it?" I blushed as she looked at me with a huge smile.

"Well... They're super pretty and nice... And we've had some misunderstandings..." She shifted closer to me. "Are they a boy or a girl?" She asked, practically beaming at this point. "A girl... And she's in our team..." She seemed to think for a few seconds. "Oh! Oh! Is it Icy?" I shook my head.

"Hmmmm, is it Saw or Gaty?" I shook my head again. "Teardrop? Lollipop? Dora?" I shook my head blushing. She counted on her fingers and when she reached six her cheeks were tinted a light pink.

"But that means... there's only you and me left... Wait! You like me?" She realised looking at me her cheeks an intense scarlet. I looked away nodding aggressively. "O-Oh Book!" She tightly hugged me from behind. "I-I feel the same!" I turned around in her arms, my cover almost completely red.

"So does this make us girlfriends?"

"Y-Yeah!"
