Trophy POV
A puft of smoke vanished again into the ever changing night. First I enjoyed it, then the drinks bought me back to the things I thought I could forget forever. They came in like water breaking through a dam. So fast I didn't realise until it already hit. I grasped my head as another arrived.

I strangled the teddy between my arms as the screams just grew louder and louder. Why did they have to fight? Why can't we all be friends? At least I had my teddy. They were mad after we came home from the doctors and I didn't know why. Mum told me to go into my room when dad started shouting. Mum said that when I grew up, I could be a super hero and I wanna be hers!

I slowly made my way to the stairs only to hear screams echoing in the living room. I felt my heart pound against my rib cage as I went down the steps. I stopped in my tracks when I heard a loud scream echo through the house. What was going on? Mum said they were just gonna have their dinner before coming upstairs. Dad was gonna cook it. Why were the screams even louder than before?

Tears stung my eyes as I grasped onto the railing beside me. What was going on? I thought they were gone! I fell to my knees as the winter air hugged me coldly. I wish I never went to that party...

I stood in the corner of the room, swiping around on my phone as the lights danced with the music. I was so bored. I wish I never came but I had to do it for my friend. It was his birthday after all. I was surprised when the smell of alcohol arrived. We were only 19. I looked up only to see everyone chugging alcohol like it was nothing.

My friend waltzed his way over to me, his breath stunk of the intoxicating drink. "You should try someeeeeeeee! I'm sure you'll like ittttttt!" I groaned and pushed him away gently. He must've taken it the wrong way because he slammed me against the wall which resulted in us fighting. I ended up with a broken nose and jaw. His injuries were much worse however. He had a broken arm and neck. However, we both had a similar injury at the end of it all.

My head ached as the cigarette I was previously using fell to the ground with me. What was happening to me?

I stood above the bruised and bleeding Knife with a cold fist. He looked terrified as Pickle came running toward him crying. I laughed. Why did I do that? I was so mean... I snapped out of it when Pickle slapped me. "What is wrong with you Trophy?! We get you had a rough past but that doesn't mean you have to take it out on everyone!"

I growled. I didn't like it when people talked about that. "Oh really? What are you supposed to do when everyone you ever knew died?! My mum hung herself when I was three! My dad got too caught up in gang work so much so he was killed! And my younger sister Medal, was killed by my dad!" I covered my mouth. I was not supposed to say that. I hissed at Pickle before punching him in the jaw and running away.

The cigarette butt fell to the floor and burned out in a small puff of smoke. I got up, my mind set on one thing. I hoisted myself onto the railing of the roof as a tear slipped down my black and blue cheek.

"Sorry."

It's my birthday today! (At least in Australia)
So I have something prepared for that...
I hope this was okay tho!
I know it was short but I wanted to finish it as soon as I could!
