Pen's POV
Scratch, scratch, scratch. My Pencil glided across the paper as I sketched another portrait of my friend Eraser. I had billons upon billions of sketches just on him because his appearance was different to everyone else's in a way. He just seemed so much more handsome and charming.

I dreamily sighed as I finished the picture. I ripped it out of my notebook and placed it in my my drawer I had dedicated just to him. I better get started with homework... I picked up my textbooks and began to study. Exams were coming up so I had to study extra hard. I really don't want to fail. It'll make Eraser think I'm dumb.

I sighed and began reading. It's gonna be a very long night...

I sat in the corner of the halls, quite empty, next to my large blue locker. I pulled my beanie down and scoffed. I was so tired with student council duties and all. It was so tiring... Plus I only slept at 3 in the morning! Didn't have breakfast either... I was tired, bored and hungry but I forgot to bring my lunch money.

Looks like I'm going to starve- "Hey Pen!" I looked up to see Eraser running up to me, a chicken sandwich in hand. He sat next to me with a soft grunt before handing me the sandwich. "Pencil told me you forgot your cash so I got you something! Plus you look really tired, you good bro?" I lightly nodded as I bit into the sandwich.

He pet me on the head before getting out his phone and browsing on instagram. I rested on his shoulder so I could see, he didn't seem to mind. Blocky at it again with another prank... Snowball at a gang fight with a terrified Lightning... Pencil on a date with Match... A post saying it's international confess to to your crush day... Wait, what? Eraser froze on the post. His cheeks tinted light red as were mine.

He audibly gulped and sighed. "It's now or never Eraser..." He mumbled to himself. He took a deep breath. "Pen are you trying to miss all the club meetings?" I flinched and looked up to see Tree standing above me. He grabbed my wrist and I softly winced. The cuts... He pulled me up and dragged me to the club room.

I held myself up and rubbed my wrists as he let me go. That really hurt... "Okay everyone. It's international 'confess to your crush day' according to instagram and instagram's always right! So if you've already confessed to your crush or know exactly what you're doing, stand on the right side of the room. If you're the complete opposite and have no clue what you're doing, stand on the left."

Tree, Bottle, Liy and I stood on the left while everyone else stood on the right. We began discussing ideas on how to confess. "I heard that they're hosting a serenade performance for the occasion..." I heard Pie acknowledge. Wow... does everybody in the school have instagram or something? We all agreed we would try that.

I saw Leafy pick up the singing sheet two hours before the performance. No going back now... I sighed and walked to the music room half the club booked. "Hey Pen! Do you got your song yet?" I smiled and nodded. "Clubs can also win best club points here!" Tree exclaimed happily. "We've got this performance in the bag!" Pie stated. "Oh heck yeah!" We all high fived before beginning our practice.

This is gonna be awesome.

This is gonna be terrifying

I stood backstage, shakily grasping a guitar. As Tree almost finished singing 'Fly Me To The Moon'. I was panicking. What if Eraser doesn't like the song? "Next up is Pen Writers!" I shook off my fear. Let's do this. I walked onto the stage and looked across the huge crowd. Almost everyone in the school was here. I saw Pencil cheering me on in the crowd. I smiled. Here goes everything...

"I feel, like nothing was real,

The crowd erupted into applause as I bowed. The spotlight went off me to a familiar pink haired friend in the crowd. "So do you accept Eraser?" I asked fearfully. I noticed the shining tears in his baby pink eyes. The entire hall was silent. He wiped his eye with a laugh. "Y-You idiot! O-Of c-course!"

I laughed with tears of joy blooming in my sky blue eyes. I quickly wiped them away as everyone clapped and went backstage. "You were so good out there Pen!" Liy exclaimed as I put down my guitar. "I doubt I'll be able to do as well as you!" Pie scratched the back of her head. "You'll do great Pie!" I reassured her as she picked up her courage and walked on stage.

The performance finished shortly after that and we all came first to fourth with me in first! So we got a lot of club recognition! We exited backstage only to be greeted with a screeching (yes you heard me. Screeching.) Pencil. "Oh my tree. You did so well Pen!" She hugged me tightly as Match stood back laughing.

"Alright, alright that's enough..." I said pushing her off. She giggled and pointed backwards. I followed her finger to see Eraser standing there his arms wide. I smiled and ran into him, knocking us both over. We were both a laughingstock of happiness. Not long after the others in the club appeared and we all concluded.

Instagram is awesome.

Lol it's sad cuz I don't have instagram... ;-; I wish I did lmao.
