Feelings Are Hard

The next morning Kazuichi awoke and felt like something was off. He wasn't the superstitious type but he could almost sense a difference somehow.

He went out into the living room and saw Gundham sitting on the couch asleep. He must've fallen asleep watching tv, Kazuichi thought to himself. He glanced around awkwardly before deciding to wake him up by shaking him gently.

Gundham awoke and looked at Kazuichi and smiled faintly. "Good morning friend Kazuichi, I must've forgotten to move before falling into slumber" he said slightly embarrassed. Kazuichi chuckled.

"Yeah I guess so." The pink haired man said scratching the back of his head. "Anyways uh. I'm gonna head out. Leon asked me to come over to his house today"

Gundham frowned. "Oh." He looked disheartened "but I wanted to spend time with you. We don't spend as much time together as we used to it seems"

Kazuichi shrugged as he headed on his way out the door. "Just go hang out with Miss Sonia if you're lonely" he said smiling sympathetically before leaving.

Gundham sighed and looked at the ground alone. Mostly alone. He had his dark devas of course. Once this thought had come to mind he decided to check and see how Airboy was doing.

He walked into Kaz's roon and saw that Airboy was not in his cage. He must've escaped. Gundham began to quickly look for the little hamster. His search was unsuccessful. He began to panic a bit as he asked his dark devas to help him search. He did not want to see his pink haired friend sad.

After hours of searching. He gave up. He waited dreadfully for Kazuichi to come back in hopes that Kaz had just brought Airboy with him. He'd text if it weren't for Kazuichi being so unreliable with replying when he was with Leon.

Once Kazuichi had returned Gundham instantly asked. "Did you bring Airboy with you?". Kazuichi shook his head confused. "Oh no.. Uhm. I cannot find him. I went to check on him earlier and I could not find him."

Kazuichi looked panicked as well. They both began looking for him but were both unable to find him. This led to Kazuichi feeling terrible and being on the verge of tears when suddenly there was a squeaking in the vent nearby.

They checked and there he was! Airboy!

Kazuichi and Gundham were more relived and put the little hamster back in his cage. "Thank god" Kazuichi said sighing relieved "I thought I lost him forever" he chuckled nervously.

"Yeah uhm." Gundham hesitated for a second before continuing. "By the way I was wondering if we could spend time together tommorow since you were busy today?".

Kazuichi shook his head. "Sorry I have plans with Leon again. Maybe some other day" he shrugged. Gundham sighed and nodded politely before leaving the room to go to his own.
