Two Bros Chillin In An Apartment

Kazuichi slowly awoke and opened his eyes. Once he noticed what he was doing he blushed, but didn't move out of fear of accidentally waking up Leon.
Leon began to wake up soon after as he noticed Kaz was still holding onto his arm. Leon poked Kazuichi in the forehead and Kazuichi looked at him blinking.
"Oh you're awake, and your still holding onto my arm." Leon said smiling. Kazuichi immediately let go. "No no it's fine. I don't mind letting you hold onto me" Leon said in a jokingly flirtatious way. Kazuichi blushed but tried to ignore Leon as he got up and stretched.
Leon sighed as he quietly wished that Kazuichi would at least acknowledge his obvious feelings for him, he didn't think Kaz was that oblivious. But then he realized it wouldn't be that much a surprise if he was.
The pink haired mechanic still felt tired, he felt like he could sleep forever. He wished he hadn't confessed to Gundham and ruined their friendship. But Kaz was at least glad to have Leon, at least he couldn't ever ruin his friendship with Leon.
"So about when are you planning on going home?" Leon asked his best friend curiously. Kazuichi shrugged. The redhead let out a small sigh but smiled as he spoke again. "You can stay for the rest of the day if you want to, I don't really have anything planned to do today".
Kazuichi seemed to be happy his friend didn't mind him staying a bit longer. He thanked Leon before he sat down on the edge of the bed and thought for a moment. His friend went over sat by him.
"If your still upset about Gundham not feeling the same I could play my guitar for you, that always cheers you up. Right?" Leon asked. He was trying his best to comfort his friend despite not being the best at it, emotional conversions just weren't something he was used to. Kazuichi looked at him smiling a bit.
"You really will use any excuse to play ya guitar won't ya" Kaz said with an almost laugh as he spoke. "Go head though. I like hearin ya play music" he continued. Leon instantly went to go get his guitar.
Leon played for about an hour enjoying every moment of it and making it obvious. Seeing Leon so happy make Kazuichi happy, he enjoyed seeing his friend with a dorky smile as he played his guitar. Leon may not have been the best at singing or playing instruments in most people's opinons, but in Kaz's opinion Leon was really good at it.
Once Leon had finally stopped playing he smiled at the pink haired boy who was staring in awe. He always enjoyed playing music for Kaz because of how much he enioyed listening to him play. Leon set his guitar down and went back to his spot by Kaz.
It was at this moment Kazuichi realized Leon still hasn't put a shirt on. He tried to not to think about it and just ignore it but he couldn't help but blush a tiny bit. It was enough for Leon to notice and question.
"What's wrong?"
"Uhm. Ya still don't have a shirt on"
"Oh. Sorry I'm used to just laying around when I'm not busy. I can put a shirt on if it's bothering you"
"Nah its fine. Just forget I said anythin"
Leon paused for a long minute before replying again. "Do you like seeing me with my shirt off?" Leon said in a joking tone smiling. Kazuichi blushed more.
"What? No. I'm just not gonna make ya put a shirt on in your own house" Kaz said quickly defending himself.
"You're a bad liar." Leon said simply as he laughed a bit. Kazuichi laughed a bit to although a little awkward.
"Anyways, on a different subject thanks for bein here for me" Kazuichi said smiling as he tried to change the topic.
"No problemo dude, your my best friend. I've always got your back" he replied his smile fading a bit. They sat their in silence for a little while unsure of what else to say.
Kazuichi decided to be the one to finally break the silence. "So uh. How's ya love life been? Brought home anyone new recently?" He asked in an awkward tone.
"Not really. I've mostly just been trying to get with this one person I've had feelings for this one person for a while." The red head replied shrugging. He really didn't want to talk about this but he also didn't know what else to really say.
"Woah. Ya actually developed feelings for someone for once? I thought ya'd always be mr commitment issues." Kaz said pretending to be more surprised than he was.
Leon rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah, I've developed actual feelings for someone for the first time ever. But I know they don't like me back so I'm kinda wasting my time" Leon explained his smile nonexistent at this point.
Kazuichi looked at Leon and noticed he looked upset. He felt bad for asking. "Sorry about bringing it up, but ya probably know I understand completely how it feels." He said trying to cheer Leon up. Leon sighed and nodded a bit.
The next few hours were spent just laying around and talking. Once it began to get dark Kazuichi decided to text Gundham asking if it was alright if he could come back so they could talk things out and Gundham agreed to it so Kazuichi left soon after in a bit of a hurry. Kaz left in so much of a hurry he ended up forgetting his beanie that he'd taken off the night before when he went to bed.
Leon sat alone in his room quietly thinking to himself, mostly just kinda making fun of himself for being such a coward about his feelings. He hated how he couldn't tell his friend how he really felt, he hated how emotionally distant he couldn't help but be, he hated how awkward he kept accidentally being when talking to Kaz. The thing Leon hated the most though, was that his stupid heart had fallen for someone who already liked someone else.
