The Next Day

Mon walked into work and saw Iris wasn't at her desk, and Cat was cranky. He didn't know why Iris wasn't there but maybe Kara had the answer. But when he walked up to Kara's desk, she was also gone. "What?", he asked himself. "You're Mon-El, right?" Mon's face turned into shock and worry as he turned around, so scared to see who would be behind him. It was James.

"Uh. No.", Mon said, making it clearly obvious that was his name. James gave him a look before getting close to his ear.

"I know Kara is Supergirl.", he whispered and Mon relaxed. "Oh. Okay.", Mon said. "And that also means, I know about you. And something is wrong. Kara isn't here. And she's never not here.", James said and Mon scoffed.

"Iris isn't here either!", Mon exclaimed and James looked at Iris' desk. "That's not good.", James said.

"Ya think?!", Mon exclaimed as Cat approached the two. "Where is Iria? Why isn't she answering her cell phone?", Cat asked but at the same time, Snapper approached them. "You. Where is ponytail? She's usually the first one here.", Snapper said and James started to stammer. "Kara isn't here either?", Cat asked.

"Okay. Guys. There's an easy explanation for all of this..uh..you know, maybe Iris & Kara can't. We're actually in the middle of the worst solar storm in recorded history. It's just been scrambling communication signals all morning. I'm sure there's a- there's a good reason.", Mon came up with and James was impressed. "Well. I know the reason. They're avoiding. Adam drew a wedge between them and I'm assuming they're trying to match up their friendship but at the same time, was trying to avoid the person who started all of this. Me. But I am a professional. I do not do sunshine and rainbows repairing friendships. So you can tell Kara & Iria, they may come back to work, to resume their duties.", Cat said before nodding at Snapper, and he nodded back. They both went back to their offices, leaving Mon & James. "We should call Alex.", they both said.

Kara's Apartment

James & Mon were following Alex & Barry to Kara's door. "They're not out on DEO business.", Alex said. "I got a bad feeling about this.", James said.

"You bring your key?", Barry asked Alex. "Yeah.", Alex said before she kicked Kara's door down. In the middle of the apartment was Iris, unconscious.

"Iris!", Mon exclaimed before he ran up to her and bent down. Once he started to shake her, she immediately woke up, and looked kinda traumatized. "Iris. Iris. Hey. It's me.", Mon said as Iris looked at him and looked relieved to see him.

"Oh, Mon.", she said as James, Alex & Barry entered the apartment. They turned the corner to find Kara on the ground with a alien type parasite attacked to her torso. "Oh, my God!", James exclaimed as Barry ran up to her, trying to see if she was still breathing but the parasite smacked his arm. "Don't touch it.", Alex said.

"What- What is that?", Iris asked as Mon helped her stand up. "You were here. Shouldn't you know?", Alex asked.

"But I don't. I came here last night, and saw Kara like this but then..", Iris started to say before pausing and Alex gave her a look. "Then what?", Alex asked.

"Non. He came here. He..He knocked me out.", Iris said and Mon clenched his fists. "Damnit.", Alex mumbled.

DEO

Agents rolled Kara in as Alex & Barry were mentally freaking out. "I need a medical evac now. She was found unconscious.", Alex said as they all entered the medic room, meaning Alex, J'onn, Barry, Iris & Mon. "The organism is gripping her torso with over 100 pounds of pressure.", a medic said but then James turned the corner to check up on Kara. "What the hell are is he doing here?", J'onn asked. "Where Supergirl goes, I go.", James said. "This is a top secret facility, Mr. Olsen. You think I'm gonna let the media waltz through here?", J'onn asked him. "If something happens to her, I'm coming back for you.", James said, concerned for his friend. "If anything happens to her, I won't stop you.", J'onn said before James left.

"What's her condition?", Barry asked. "She's unresponsive to outside stimuli, but her brain activity is still normal. It's like her body is unaware that anything is wrong.", Alex said and Barry looked at Kara, with complete worry, he didn't want anything happening to her. "What the hell is that thing?", J'onn asked. "I have no idea. But I think we know someone who does.", Alex said.

Cell 19

Barry, Alex & J'onn walked into the cell and Max was sitting down, giving them a smug smirk. "Agents. What a surprise. You haven't visited since you threw me in my collectible display case.", Max said as they opened the cell door open. Then Alex walked in there and started to punch Max.

"How do I get that thing off of Kara?", Alex asked. "You may have to be a tad more specific.", Max said. "Don't test my patience, Max.", Alex said before punching him again.

"You tried to kill Kara with Bizarro. I'm guessing you designed this new freak to finish the job.", Barry said before he punched the glass of the cell. "I'm flattered that I've made such a lasting impression on you, but the truth is I don't know what you're talking about.", Max said. "Alex, stand down!", J'onn yelled. "He's got to be behind this. You know what he's capable of.", Alex said. "I also know Max is a survivor. If he knew anything, he'd tell us to save his own neck.", J'onn said as Alex walked out and the cell door closed. "I never thought I'd say this, but Thanks for the assist.", Max said. "If we find out you're lying, she comes back down here. Alone.", Barry said as they walked out.

Fort Rozz

I gave orders for them to remain unharmed.", Astra said. "And I obeyed them to the letter. Kara Zor-El is at peace, which is more than she deserves. She has everything her heart desires.", Non said and Astra realized what he did. "You used a Black Mercy on her?", she asked. "If it were up to me, she'd be dead. Astra, the time has come for us to implement the next phase of Myriad. This was the only way.", Non said. "There is always another way.", Astra said. "Your sister thought that. Look what it got her."
