Barry & Iris were tightly hugging as the pain just got worse emotionally and physically. But then Winn turned to them with an comm. "It's Kara. She needs to talk to you.", Winn said and Iris immediately took it.

"Kara?", Iris asked.

"Iris. I have to make this quick...you need to know...from the moment I saw you when I was on your dad's porch, I knew you'd be my best friend. I just somehow did. Okay? Now. I want you to be happy. With Mon El. With Eddie. With whoever. I just need you to be happy, okay?", Kara asked with tears developing in her eyes.

"Kara? What's going on?", Iris asked with her voice shaky.

"Please let me talk to Barry.", Kara said.

"Kara!", Iris exclaimed.

"Please! I need to say goodbye.", Kara said and Iris hesitantly gave Barry the comm. He took it from Iris, scared to what was to come.

"Kara, what's going on?", Barry asked.

"The Myriad signal is still escalating. We defeated Non and Indigo, but we can't stop the Myriad wave and we can't power the ship. I'm going to fly Fort Rozz into space myself. It's the only way we can get Myriad off the planet.", Kara said and Barry was suddenly frightened. He knew she would die if she did that.

"That is not an option, Kara. Once you're in space, there's no atmosphere. There's no gravity. You wouldn't be able to generate thrust, you wouldn't be able to breathe, you wouldn't be able to get back.", Barry said.

"There is no other way.", Kara said.

"No. I will not accept this, okay? You- You can't just tell me how you feel, save me from almost killing you, then you end whatever was going on here between us because you need to save the world, and then do this without me even telling you how I feel.", Barry said, sternly.

"Barry..", Kara said softly.

"No. I can have someone-", he started to say.

"No, there's no time-", Kara started to say.

"Kara, listen to me.", Barry said sternly. "I can't loose you.", he continued and Kara's eyes were filled with tears.

"I was sent to protect Earth and that's what I'm gonna do. But I need you to promise me something. Help Alex find Jeremiah and when you do, tell him that I never stopped wearing the glasses. He needs to know that Alex and Eliza gave me a great life. A life I never thought I'd be able to find outside of Krypton. But I also want you to have a good life. I want you to find love and be happy.", Kara started off saying as Barry fell to the ground crying. "I want you to do all the things that loving me kept you from doing.", Kara said and Barry shook his head no.

"Kara-", he started.

"Promise me.", she said but he just continued to sob.

"I can't. I can't do it, Kara. You've made me so happy.", Barry said and Kara sharply inhaled, wishing they had more time together.

"I need you need you to promise me, Barry. There isn't much time.", Kara said as Barry glanced at Kara's pod.

"Okay. I promise.", he said, with his poor green eyes full of tears.

"Good. Okay. I have to go now.", Kara said and Barry sharply inhaled, while closing his eyes. It was now or never.

"I love you, Kara.", he said and she choked up on some tears.

"I love you.", she said before taking the comm out and disconnecting it. Barry's heart dropped when he didn't hear her voice anymore.

"Kara? Kara?", he asked before looking at Iris, and just by one look, she knew. Kara was sacrificing herself. She started to choke up on tears as she laid her head on Barry's chest.
