Police officers had stopped a bus, trying to find two fugitives. Alex & J'onn. But they were on that bus. Undercover. J'onn was morphed into a little blonde boy while Alex was wearing a blonde wig, with sunglasses on. "Remain seated. We're on the lookout for a pair of fugitives, wanted in connection to some very serious crimes. These two are considered to be extremely dangerous. If you have any information, please speak up.", a police officer said as she walked down the aisle, showing pictures of Alex & J'onn on her tablet. She didn't recognize Alex & J'onn and thought nothing of it. "This bus is clear. Let's get out of here.", she said, before walking out, with the other police officer.

Kara & Mon arrived and everyone there was at their computers, typing, not making a sound. "Kelly?", Kara asked as she & Mon looked at the computer screen. "That's Kryptonian.", Kara said and Mon looked concerned.

"What is Non up to?", Mon asked but then he saw Iris at her desk and immediately ran to her and bent down, grabbing her hand. "Iris. Come on, Iris. You are stronger than this. Come back. Come back to me. There was a time that I was so afraid you wouldn't see me and now I just wish you'd smile.", Mon said but she still just continued to type. Then both Kara & Mon pulled their attention to the TV.

"The United States Army has taken up a position at every entranceway into National City. Until this threat is neutralized, National City has effectively been quarantined.", General Lane said on the TV. That gave Kara an idea. She got out her phone and called him.

"This is General Lane.", he said when he picked up.

"It's Supergirl.", Kara said.

"How's Lucy?", Lane asked.

"She's alive. She's safe.", Kara said.

"She's enthralled to Non's master weapon, isn't she?", he asked and Kara deeply sighed.

"Yes. Listen, you need to keep everybody outside of city limits until I can figure this out, okay? I know you and I haven't always had the best work relationship, but-", Kara started to say.

"I'll do my part. I trust you'll do yours. Good luck.", Lane said before hanging up. Mon crossed his arms and looked stressed but then Cat walked off of her elevator, texting someone. Mon & Kara both looked surprised to see her.

"Iria. Call Harrison Ford and tell him that I'm flattered, but once and for all, I do not date older men, especially when they're married.", Cat said, not noticing the two. But then Kara cleared her throat. And Cat looked at them. "Oh! Supergirl! And Supergirl's friend. Well, what a pleasant surprise. Do we have a 9 AM?", Cat asked but the two were looking at her, in confusion.

"You're not a mindless drone.", Mon said.

"Uh, no. No, I learned that lesson when Demi Moore and I wore the same dress to the premiere of Ghosts. Never again.", Cat said.

"Ms. Grant, listen to me. Everyone in the city is affected by this alien signal. They're acting like automatons. Haven't you noticed?", Kara asked and Cat actually took the time to look at every one.

"Hmm, well, yes, they are a bit more quiet than usual. Maybe my reign of terror has finally reached its peaked effectiveness.", Cat said before Kara's phone went off. "Oh. You do have a cell phone. Can I get that number, please?", Cat asked.

"It's Superman.", Kara said and Mon looked at her in surprise.

"What?", he asked.

"Can I get his number as well?", Cat asked.

"He's coming to help.", Kara said as she started to run to the balcony with Mon & Cat following. That's when Cat looked down and saw everyone walking like in a trance.

"Oh, my God. What's happening to everyone?", Cat asked as Kara saw Superman flying towards them.

"There he is! There he is!", Kara exclaimed, pointing at him.

"Who? Superman? Where?", Cat asked as Superman fell to the ground, also in a trance.

"Oh, God. No.", Kara said.

"What is it?", Cat asked.

"Myriad. It's affecting Superman too.", Mon said.

"Myriad? Wait a minute, if it's affecting Superman, then are any of us safe?", Cat asked.

"Well, I may not be Superman, but I do have my moments." The three of them turned around to see Max standing in the doorway with a smug smirk and Mon & Kara were immediately annoyed.
