That morning Reine found herself somewhere she never thought she'd step back into, Selina's place. It had all been Ivy's idea. She had run into some trouble with some guy. She also had the brilliant idea of going to Selina for help, since that used to be her go-to move.
Reine didn't think Cat would react positively to seeing them. She offered to stay outside, but Ivy thought that was ridiculous and made Reine come with her. So Reine slowly followed behind her. As they got closer she could hear Selina calling the cats for breakfast. Ivy had picked up one of the cats.
"Still collecting strays?", Ivy asked as she walked into the room.
Reine was still outside of the room.
"Lady, you got two seconds to get out of here before I gut you like a fish."
"Whoa, no need for that right now.", Reine said as rushed in front Ivy.
"You really don't recognize me? Selina, it's me. Ivy? Hey, you got anything to eat around here? I'm starving." She walked past Reine and Selina.
"Surprise.", Reine told Cat with a cheeky smile.
"You don't get to talk."
"Fair enough."
Reine had expected Selina to be pissed.
Selina had called Bruce, who came over fairly quickly.
"I don't believe it.", he said as they looked at a grown Ivy eating all of Selina's food.
"Well, I should have known. I saw what that freak Marv could do. How he could age people, and when you told me that the girl wearing her sweater was older, I, I should have realized."
"That's really Ivy."
"Trust me. She came and literally ate all my food. Immediately ate all my food. It's her."
"Yeah, and the fact that I said she was Ivy counts for nothing.", Reine said but got ignored.
"So why are they back here?"
"Good question."
She went up to the two girls and hit them in the arm.
"Ow! What was that for?", Ivy asked as she finally stopped eating.
"I deserved that.", Reine said as she rubbed her shoulder.
"For being alive and not telling me!", she turned to Reine, "And you already know why!"
"Well I wasn't the one that complained, now was I?!"
