At the news station, while Dwight was writing his little script and getting hair and makeup done, Reine went to place no one could hear her make a phone call. Which was hard since the fanatics seemed to follow her everywhere.

"Hey, it's me. I'm with the sub-par lunatics. I left you a way in through the vents. You gonna get out of one close to the entrance."

"You should've warned me before you went and joined the cult."

"You're not my father James. Remember, Dwight's mine, I'm the one who gets to kill him." She hangs up as she hears someone approaching.

It was hair and makeup, but Reine refused, already having done her makeup today.
She noticed a cult member had come over to Dwight with a phone call from the police.

"The police are outside. Detective Gordon is on the phone. It's just like when he called Jerome outside the Children's Hospital benefit."

He excitedly picks the phone up. He starts repeating what Jerome said to Jim on the night of the benefit. Though worse, in Reine's opinion. While he did so he and the cult giggled and smiled like teenage girls. Meanwhile, Reine rolled her eyes.
But then Jim said something that made Dwight mad.

"No, I am Jerome! I am Jerome. And soon Gotham will know it."

Reine hated that the guy thought he was even close to Jerome, it sickened her how he thought having his actual face got him closer to being Jerome.

Dwight had put Jerome's face on, like a mask, and sat down on the table in front of the camera. Reine had sat down on the side of it. They started recording.

"Brothers and sisters, my name is Dwi-" He clears his throat. "My name is, Jerome."

Reine did nothing to hide her bored expression.

Jerome also wasn't impressed as he watched from the tv in Lee's office. He had tied and gagged Lee and changed into a cop's uniform.

"Look at that. No charisma, no charisma, no stage presence. Though he is a handsome fellow, huh?"

He puts on the cop's hat.

"Hey, Doc, keep watching. You don't want to miss what happens next." He says as he leaves the room.

Reine meanwhile is almost falling asleep when, finally, in storms, James Gordon and his cop buddies. Dwight tries to make a run for it, but Reine trips him. Jim is quick to get on top of him and cuff him.

"Hey, he's mine remember?!"

Harvey goes over to her and cuffs her too.

"What the hell?!"

"It's just to keep you from killing anyone until we get out."

"Can't even get a fucking thanks.", she muttered as they dragged her outside.

When they get outside Reine holds out her cuff for Harvey to unlock.

"As long as you promise not to kill Dwight before he's thrown in either Blackgate or Arkham."

"Fine. But I won't promise that I won't go to his cell and kill slowly."

He unlocks her cuffs.

"You tell anyone about me helping and I will kill all of you. It's incredibly bad for my rep."

She goes to follow wherever Dwight went, making sure he doesn't try to escape.
She finds a dead cop with a knife in his chest. She looks around, about to call for Jim, but then someone pulls her into the passenger seat of a news van.
She goes to stab them, but when she sees who it was, her heart stopped.

"Hiya dollface.", Jerome happily greets her.

She slowly drops her knife.

And just like that, she passed out.

When she woke up she was about to call out to Selina, believing she had taken a nap and gotten one of her good dream where she'd see Jerome again. She'd always woke up after seeing him, or she'd try to touch him and he'd disappear.
But this time she woke up in the van at a power plant and Jerome opened up the door.

"Come on, gorgeous. Wouldn't want you to miss the show."

She gets out of the van, staring at Jerome.

"It's really you."

"Of course it's me. Unless you know of any other guy who got his face cut off and brought back to life."

She ran into his arms, hugging him as tight as she could. She felt a wave of relief when he didn't disappear.

"You dickhead, you made me mourn for you. Give me a fucking proper warning next time." She looks up and smiles.

Jerome pushes away some of her hair that fell on her face.

"Come now, it's time to give Gotham a proper show. Way better than whatever that guy did."

"We're going to kill him right?"

"Of course, but it'll have to wait."

They had brought all the explosions from the van, inside. There were also gasoline cans all over the room. Jerome also put his face back on with a stapler, which sounded very painful.

"So, how's it look?"

"It's good. It looks good.", Dwight answers nervously.

"You wouldn't lie to me, right, Dwight?"

"No. It looks good. It's good.", he said, clearly very jittery.

"I think it looks hot.", Reine says with a smirk.

She goes over to Jerome and pulls him into a kiss as she wraps her leg around him.

"Especially with that cop uniform."

Dwight stood there awkwardly as the couple made out. Seeing that they weren't stopping, he coughs audibly.
Reine rolls her eyes as she let's go off Jerome, making him groan in protest.

"We'll finish this later.", he whispers in her ear.

He goes and finishes setting things up.

"Say, you're not mad, are you?", Dwight asks.

"Mad? What could I possibly be mad about? Huh?"

"You know, the whole cutting off your face."

"Ah. Oh, buddy, you brought me back from the dead. Brought me back together with my dollface. What's a cutoff face between friends?"

"I guess that's true."

"You guessed right. Bingo."

"Yeah, it's all cool man. Forgive and forget, all that shit.", Reine tells him with a smile.

They start looking through the bombs.

"What are, what are we doing?", Dwight asks.

Jerome chuckles, while Reine smirks.

"You'll see."
