LANCASTER

"Lancaster hijo, sige na please?" I let out a sigh at saka sumandal sa swivel chair na kinauupuan ko.

"Auntie, alam niyo naman na may trabaho ako saka bakit ako? madami namang pwedeng mag-alaga sa bata na yan." Reklamo ko.

"Cause she is not a child like what you think Lancaster. She is a child who's locked inside of a woman's body." Auntie explained.

"What? I don't understand."

"Bakit hindi ka na lang pumunta mamaya dito sa bahay? we will be having a dinner and I can introduce you to her." She offered.

"Auntie, hindi ko gusto kung saan papunta ang sinasabi mo." I said.

Alam ko naman kasi in the end of the night, susubukan niya na naman kaming i-match make.

"Mathieu, hindi ka na tumatanda. Kailangan mo na rin humanap ng makakasama mo sa buhay." Auntie explained again. "And besides, I think she is good for you." She said.

Walang salitang ibinaba ko naman ang tawag at basta na lang inilapag ang cellphone sa lamesa ko.

Now my mood is ruined.

Wala pa talaga kasi sa isip ko ang pag-aasawa, I really enjoyed being single.

No stress

No pressure.

Kenneth entered my office and put down some files that I need to read and sign.

"What is my schedule for today Kenneth?" I asked, I looked at him and later on an aura cam out from his body.

It was white and there's a few black.

Meaning he is not a bad person.

Cause that black can mean anything, secrets, bad thinking, etc.

"You have a lunch meeting with Ms. Asumi at 12:00 pm and a meeting with investors at 3:00 pm then the rest is free." Kenneth reported and I nodded.

"Good, after the meeting at 3:00 pm declare an early out. Pupuntahan ko si Auntie." I said and opened one of the folders.

"Thank you Sir." Kenneth said.

"Leave."

At sumunod naman ito. Napasandal naman ulit ako sa upuan ko habang binabasa ang isang proposal tungkol sa pag-expand ng building sa branch ko. Tumaas naman ang kilay ko ng makita ang gagastusin.

Masyado kasing malaki iyon.

I called one of my private investigators at sinabi sa kanya ang tungkol doon.

"Okay Sir, you will get the details tomorrow." He said

"Thank you." I said and end the call.

"Pssst."

Tumingin naman ako sa babaeng multo na siyang sumitsit.

"What?" I asked.

"Alas-dose na." She said at tumingin naman ako sa malaking wall clock na nandoon, alas-dose na nga.

I let out a sigh. "Thank you Merida." I muttered and stood up and my ear didn't miss her giggle.

There's a ghosts here around my building but they are not harming or scaring anyone, hinayaan ko na rin dahil nangako naman sila sa akin. Alam kasi nila ang mangyayari kapag may ginalaw sila sa isa sa mga empleyado ko dito.
