Chapter Thirty

[ANDREA]

"Will you still love me if I told you that I killed someone?"

Halata sa mukha ni Aster ang pagkalito noong sambitin ko ang mga salitang iyon.

I put my shaky hand into my chest and I hugged my knees, the water splashed around us but we didn't mind.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

I gulped the lump in my throat pilit na nilakasan ang loob para makapag-salita.

"I-I k-killed someone Lancaster." I said, I looked at my hand and I started to saw the blood, her blood.

"I don't understand--"

"What part of I killed someone you don't understand Aster?" I asked and I looked him.

Hindi naman ito nakasagot at kinuha ko na iyon as chance para magsalita ulit.

"Nakawala na ako mula sa kadiliman ng basement na iyon, a-akala ko okay na ang lahat pero yung babae na iyon...she started to scream to gather the attention od guards, I-I don't have a choice Aster. I-I grabbed the knife a-and--"

"Shhh, it's okay..."

"No it's not Aster!" I said raising my voice. "I-I could've just push her and run b-but I chose to kill her. I-I'm a monster!"

"You are not Andrea." He said at pilit na inilingon ako sa kanya pero umiwas ako ng tingin.

I don't want to look at him.

"You are not a monster, you are still Andrea...my Andrea, my baby." He said.

"No Aster..." I said.

I fely my throat constricted and I started to take a deep breath, panic sets inside me.

"Andrea, breath." Aster instructed at sinunod ko naman iyon.

He let me lean my head in his naked chest as I calmed down.

"I'm sorry..."

"For what?" He asked in confusion.

"For this....I'm a mess." I muttered.

He let out a sigh at saka binuhat ako palabas ng hot tub, na ngayon ay malamig na.

Tinuyo naman niya ang katawan ko and he let me wear the robe then I removed my wet underwear.

"Look at the mirror baby." He instructed.

I looked at myself, wet, pale and a mess.

"You may be a mess, but you are a beautiful mess for me." He said as he wear his robe.

Napasinghap naman ako ng yakapin niya ako mula sa likod.

"And I will keep you forever, I don't care about your past or what did you do in the past. I marry you, no matter what." He said with a reassuring voice.

Nanatiling nakatitig naman ako sa salamin before tears fell down from my eyes and I sobbed.

What did I do? why God gave me this man?

"Aster..."

"Shhh..." He said at saka iniharap ako sa kanya. "There's no reason to feel sorry, past is past and no one can change my mind."

I looked at his green eyes before wrapping my arms around his neck and I kissed him on his lips.

Halatang nagulat naman siya sa ginawa ko pero nakabawi naman siya kaagad at hinapit ang bewang ko palapit sa kanya as he answer my kisses.
