"Hey, dude!" Nino exclaimed, walking into the Agreste Mansion.

"Hi, Nino!" Adrien replied, grinning at his friend.

It was a miracle in itself that Adrien had been allowed to have a friend over. And Nino? Who had been ruled a bad influence for as long as Adrien had know him? Adrien wondered if his father was actually beginning to trust him.

The more likely explanation was that it had something to do with the fact that it was the day after his mother had disappeared. The day after Felix had betrayed Adrien, but come back to the good in the end (well, so Adrien thought). Gabriel had been even more absent than usual since then and Adrien wished he could make it better for his father. Help him find the happiness Emilie had taken with her when she left.

"Alya wanted to know if you want her to resend you that video we made," Nino said. "She said she still has it on her phone, so it'd be a cinch."

"That'd be awesome!" Adrien grinned, wondering how he hadn't thought of that. "Tell her yes and thank you."

Nino grinned back, waiting until they got to Adrien's room to pull out his phone. Once he did and opened his messages, his face slowly turned from a grin to frown.

"What's wrong?" Adrien asked, concerned.

"Alya says that someone, chickened out and won't let her send the video," Nino replied, rolling his eyes and emphasizing the word 'someone' like Adrien should know who he was talking about.

Adrien didn't, but he brushed it off with a sigh. "Is there any other way to get it back?"

He really wanted to see the video that had been so carefully made for him. It was enough to know that his friends had been thinking of him, of course, but he felt bad he hadn't gotten to really experience it. It felt like their hard work had been wasted on him.

Nino thought for a second, then snapped his fingers. "Did you check your recently deleted folder?"

"No!" Adrien exclaimed, pulling out his phone. Seriously, how did he not get these ideas?

The video was, thankfully, in the recently deleted folder. It wasn't a second too soon, either, because Nathalie chose that second to come in. She frankly told the boys that Adrien was supposed to be alone now, since he was still struggling with the loss of his mother. Nino and Adrien exchanged a look, but Nino left without a word.

Adrien wondered if his father was trying to make him think about his mom by reminding his so often. After his comment on Nathalie yesterday...

The teen pushed the thoughts out of his head and opened the video he had saved. Settling onto his bed, he pressed play.

Nino's video made Adrien grin, and he sent his friend a text thanking him personally, adding in a couple of 'dudes'. He wasn't sure what to think of Rose's video, but he texted her thank you anyway, especially for the quote. The jokes Markov told were pretty funny, and Adrien added them to his Chat Noir repertoire. Another thank you text was sent. Chloe was...well, Chloe. But it seemed like she was really trying to be nice, and Adrien's thank you was completely genuine.

The next video was Marinette's, and to say Adrien was surprised by it was an understatement. Sure, he'd been on good terms with her since he'd given her his umbrella, but he'd always thought she had some ill feelings towards him since she tended to avoid him much more than their other friends. Recently their relationship had improved a lot, but Adrien still wasn't completely sure where they stood. He blamed it on his bad social skills.
