Miraculous Ladybug Oneshots

Adrienette #4 ~ Stalker ~

      Marinette knew everything there was to know about Adrien; or at least she thought she did. She had watched every video, read every article, seen every picture. She had his schedule on her wall, for heaven's sake. The only thing that she didn't know was how to talk to him easily. Instead she just looked up anything she wanted to know.

      Not once in her career of watching Adrien through a screen did Marinette consider the idea that it was creepy or wrong. She just thought it was cute, or way to get to know someone she was interested in. Every girl had done it at one time or another...right?

      While browsing YouTube for any Adrien content she could find one day, Marinette came across an interesting video that she actually hadn't seen before titled "Adrien Agreste Stalker Compilation." Clicking swiftly, Marinette became more and more disturbed as the video continued.

      There were clips of people breaking through security just to touch Adrien's shirt or shoes, stealing trash from outside Agreste manor because Adrien had touched it, there was even one shot of a girl trying to break into Agreste manor.

      Marinette looked closer at the clip in suspicion and was extremely embarrassed to see that it was actually her in the video. It was from the day that she had crashed Adrien's guy only party, though from behind and due to her costume it was a bit difficult to tell that it was her. Still...she, Marinette Dupain-Cheng was in a stalking compilation. Did she really deserve that? Was her "harmless" interest in Adrien actually something much more malicious?

      Looking over at the schedule rolled up the ceiling at the moment, Marinette realized with a start that things had indeed gotten out of hand and she really needed to fix them if she truly wanted to call Adrien her friend. Friends certainly did not steal their friends private information and break into their homes. It just wasn't right. She wished she had caught it sooner.

      Immediately, she moved to throw away the schedule and any pictures that she hadn't actually taken with Adrien. She deleted all the private information she had saved to her computer previously and made up her mind to apologize to Adrien if she was ever brave enough to do so. 

      Marinette didn't want to live her life as Adrien's stalker anymore. She wanted to live it as his fan and his friend.

So...I may have gotten a little annoyed with Marinette while thinking about that one scene, hehe... I hope that she goes back to normal in Season 4. :3 Anyway, this was partially based off a fanfiction I read a long time ago on AO3. I don't remember what it was called, but it was basically the same concept. This is my interpretation. :)
