Fire in Her Eyes (Bakugo x OC)

Chapter 2

A/N: This is how I imagine Akira to look like with her dragon features and without them, it's just without the horns. 

Today is the day of our first Hero Basic Training. 

Before school, like every day, I put on foundation over my tattoo, just in case. I don't want lots of questions about it so I just keep it hidden. 

When I get to class I sit down in my regular seat. I look at my phone to pass the time because Ashido and Kirishima had not shown up yet. Everyone piles into the room and waits for our teacher to arrive. 

Mina and Kirishima arrive at the door before class started. Both sat down and waved at me. 

"I AM," All might says. "COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON."

Everyone looked around in shock. Midoriya was practically exploding over his outfit. He started mumbling crazily about limited edition costumes and whatnot. 

All might starts. "We will be doing combat training!" 

Everyone starts getting really excited. I, on the other hand, am not so excited. I've seen some of the other's quirks and let's just say, they aren't the most settling of quirks. For example, Bakugo's. Ugh, I don't even want to get into that. I'm a little bit scared of him. 

"And we have these!" Shelves started coming out of the walls and numbers on cases were inside of them. "Costumes made based on your quirk registration and requests you sent in before school!" 

My costume is going to be so boring. 

"After you change, go to Ground Beta!" 

"Yes, sir!" 

I quickly change into my costume and I go over to Ground Beta. My costume isn't the most exciting. It consists of a plain black one-piece bathing suit with a red belt around my waist. The bathing suit is fireproof. My belt has buttons that retract small weapons such as knives and daggers. My shoes are sock-like tennis shoes (think of Balenciagas, the ones that look like socks) they are colored red and white. My hands have fingerless gloves with red bracelets with buttons on them that also retract small weapons. My main point for this would be that my quirk would be more of my costume. 

When I get out into Ground Beta I am nearly tackled by Mina. 

"OH MY GOD, YOU LOOK SO GOOD!" Mina screamed in my ear. My ears were slightly sensitive to all the noise. 

"Ah! Thanks, you too!" I respond. "Watch this." 

My scales start coming out of my body and they lay over my bathing suit a little bit. My wings come sprouting out of my shoulder blades and my horns start coming out my head. I put my hair up into a high ponytail. 

The short grape kid is practically drooling over me and all the other girls. Ugh, gross. 

"They say clothes make the man, young men, and ladies." All Might says. "Be fully aware, from now on, you are heroes!" 

I look over to Bakugo and let us just say I think he would be a cool villain. Ugh, imagine though. He probably would be an amazing one. I heard he wasn't the best at rescuing during the entrance exam. 

"Now shall we begin?" All Might asks the excitement taking over his voice. 

He starts announcing the teams. It is heroes vs villains. Basically the villains are guarding a bomb in a building and the heroes have to go and get the bomb from the villains. 

(Also I'm sorry Koda won't be making an appearance in this) 

I look at the lists. I guess I'm paired up with the fanboy kid.

All Might pulls the letters out of the bags. My team is the heroes and we are paired up with...

OH MY GOD, WE ARE PAIRED UP WITH BAKUGO! This has to be the worst day ever. I'm actually going to die. Midoriya seems to feel the same way. 

I look over to Midoriya. "Hey, Midoriya, wanna come up with a strategy?" I ask. I'm trying to be at least prepared a little bit. 

"Yes, I've sort of already came up with a plan." Great, because I didn't have a plan at all. "When we go in, Bakugo is going to start with an attack. So I'll fight him and distract him while you go to the bomb." 

"Seriously? You are willing to sacrifice yourself for that?" I ask. 

"I've known him since we were kids so I think I have a little more upper hand than you do." 

Our time starts and we walk into the building. I trail behind Midoriya as we walk through the maze. Bakugo jumps out the middle of nowhere and blasts Midoriya with a small explosion. 

"DIEEEEE!!!!" Bakugo screams at the top of his lungs. 

I take my queue and run throughout the maze to the upstairs where I find Ochaco waiting for me. I can hear the blasts from downstairs and the building shakes a little bit. Ochaco is blocking my view from the bomb. Fire doesn't go well with bombs. I propelled my wings to the top of the bomb. She floats up in the air and she faces away from the bomb. I blow a stream of fire near her and I touch the bomb. 

"Hero team wins!" I hear All Might say in my earpiece. 

The blasts from downstairs continue. I look to Ochaco and quickly run downstairs. When I get there I go through the maze and I see a big hole in the side of the building. Bakugo and Midoriya stand in the middle. Bakugo is about to use his grenade gauntlet thingy on Midoriya. I fly over and just as Bakugo sets off his grenade I jump in front of Midoriya. My back faces Bakugo and the explosion hits my wings and my back. My wings aren't affected but the little part where my wings and costume aren't at gets completely scorched. The burns on my back start sizzling. 

"Get out of my way or I'll kill you!" Bakugo's raspy voice threateningly says. 

I slowly turn my head, wide-eyed, to look at him. Tears slowly fall down my face. Midoriya lay on the ground covering his body. I gather up air and fire from my hands and I make a short blast towards Bakugo. His back hits the wall and falls to the ground. 

I slowly start walking up to him. The pain from my back heightening more and more as I move. I kneel down to his level. I say just above a whisper, "You don't always have to be such a dick." His eyes widen at this. 

"Let me see it." He says. He forcefully grabs my wrist and licks his finger, he wipes the foundation off of it and my tattoo is revealed. 

He starts taking off his costume and shows me his. The words etched into his skin. 

We look at each other wide-eyed and he gets up pushing me out of the way in the process. I land on my butt and I look back at him. You could practically see the steam coming off of him. Midoriya still lies on the ground, trembling in fear. 

I get up from the spot. Ochaco comes running downstairs and instantly runs over to Midoriya. I walk over to them and I offer a hand. He takes it and I help him to the nurse's robots. I walk over to the nurse with the robots. I look back at Ochaco and I see her sorrowful face. Bakugo's, on the other hand, looks murderous. 

I let out a sigh. 

This is going to be a long three years.
