Fire in Her Eyes (Bakugo x OC)

Chapter 35

The next morning I woke up to multiple texts from my classmates. They all asked if they could come over to see me. I said sure. 

We got about a week off from school. Which I was overly excited about. I can procrastinate my future plans and just sleep. My sister decided to take some time off of work, I was thankful for that. 

Right now, we were both lazing on the couch, watching TV and looking at our phones. Apparently, all of the stuff that was at my mom's place was packed up and given away. Ryuko saved some of my stuff, which she placed outside my room. I also got a numerous amount of money and I even got a car. 

Around lunch, there was a knock on the door. I opened it to see Mr. Aizawa and All Might standing there. 

"Hello!" I said while ushering them inside. "Ryuko! My teachers are here!" I shout to her, she was in her room. 

Ryuko came out and greeted them and then we all sat at the kitchen table. My sister made some tea and they started the conversation. 

Mr. Aizawa started first. "Firstly, I would like to ask how you are doing?" He turns to me. He cleaned himself up a bit and instead of looking worn out, he wore a nice suit. 

"I'm doing pretty good, how about you guys?" I ask. 

"Good." All Might said. "The school wants to implement a new dorm system and we are going around asking all the families if their child would be allowed to move to the dorms." He kept looking down at his paper, it seems like he didn't want to look me in the eye. Maybe he feels guilty for letting Katsuki and I get kidnapped so easily. 

"Uh, I don't know," Ryuko says. "Akira has been getting attacked by villains a lot and-"

"Oh, come on! Please, let me stay there!" I begged. "I won't get in trouble!" I pulled on her shirt and fake sobbed. 

"Fine! Fine! Just be quiet!" She said while prying me off of her and then crossing her arms. 

I turn back to the teachers. "Oh and by the way, when I was the League of Villains hideout, I uh, sorta snapped and let the animal side take ov-"

"What!?!" The teachers and my sister said in unison. 

"Yeah, but it's fine because I snapped back into reality when I saw Midorya and the others flying across the sky." 

Mr. Aizawa started to rub his temples. "You let it take over...?" 

"Yeah, but I only attacked the villains." 

All three of the adults let out a long sigh. 

"That's good, we need to train that."

After that, they left. Around three I got a text from Ochaco saying that they were here. I left them in, but I was surprised to see that almost everyone was here. They all came and gave me hugs and they brought presents for me. It almost made me want to cancel my plans. Ochaco, Kirishima, Sero, Ashido, Kaminari, Momo, and Tsu all came over. 

Ashido gave me the tightest hug for like ten minutes. She was almost crying and Kirishima and Kaminari came over and also gave me hugs. 

"Don't ever fucking do that again." All three of them said. 

"Were any of the villains cute?" Ashido asks. 

"Oh my god, they are all over the age and you know that I'm practically dating Katsuki." 

"Yeah, practically dating..." Kirishima pointed out. 

What's that supposed to mean? I don't want to make it official because I know that sooner or later it's going to end. Katsuki and I have barely even become close enough to were we look like a couple. I guess...I don't know, this will be hard on him and I. I just don't want anything to be set in place. 

They stayed over until dinner time and then they all went home. Around eight at night I got a text from Katsuki. 

Explosion Boy

Can you come over?

Yeah, I'll be there in twenty

I told my sister that I would be going to Katsuki's and then I left. I wasn't sure what he wanted. I was scared to think that maybe something bad happened or that he wanted to talk about the League. I got there twenty minutes later and I knocked on his door. 

The door opened and revealed Mitsuki. 

"Hey! How are you doing?" She asks. "I heard what happened, I hope you are okay!" 

"Yeah, I am, uh Katsuki asked me to come over," I said while still standing at their front door. 

"Oh? He did, well come inside." She ushered my inside and I made my way up to my room. 

I knocked on his door and the door opened not long after. I stepped inside. 

"Hey, how are you doing?" He closed the door behind me and engulfed me in a hug. We stood there for a couple of minutes just hugging each other. I got super worried thinking about what is going to happen next. 

Then he released me and opened the door again and went downstairs. I walked over and sat on the edge of his bed. The house was really quiet until I heard shouting from his mom. I think they were fighting again. 

"If you weren't being so weak then All Might wouldn't have retired!" I heard his mom scream at him. 

Does she think it was his fault? What the fuck!? She is a bitch. (A/N: I never liked that bitch because I could fucking see what was wrong with her.) 

However, normally I would hear Katsuki screaming something back at her. But I heard nothing. Did he think it was his fault too? This is so fucking stupid. He's really blaming himself for this? This dumbass bitch. 

He came back into the room with a plate of food and set it in front of me. He also had two drinks. I said thank you and then we sat in silence. He sat on his chair and started to look at his phone. I ate the food quietly and looked at my phone. 

"I thought you were really brave, back when we were at the hideout," I stated, not looking up at my phone. 

"Tch, uh-huh." He rolled his eyes and kept mindlessly scrolling through his phone.

"I'm serious, I saw you fight the villains and how you were unnaturally calm." I looked up and continued chewing the food. 

He sighs. "Thanks, but I was the reason All Might retired." He mutters under his breath. 

"You're a dumbass if you believe that. He retired simply because he had too, it had nothing to do with you," I shoveled more food in my mouth. "You just happened to be there when he reached his limit." 

He looked up at me. His eyes were glossy and full of sadness. I moved my food off my lap and went up to him. I landed a big fat kiss on his lips while cupping his face. 

"None of that was your fault, it was all the villains." I moved my body on to his lap and started wrapped my arms around his should. I nestled my head in the crook of his neck. 

He started to sob into my arms. I could feel the tears gliding across my skin as more and more fell. 

"It's okay, just let it out," I whispered. I wiped his cheek with my shirt sleeve. 

At some point, he stopped crying and instead just sniffled. We kept holding each other in that position until about ten o'clock. I could feel myself nodding off. I felt him carry me towards his bed and lay me down. He lied down next to me and nestled his face into my chest.  We both fell asleep not long after that. 

I couldn't tell him. 

Not now, at least. 

But I have to tell him soon.
